Arizona Grand Resort

My Son and I were the 4th group out yesterday morning and it was perfect! From the quick start to the pace of play and the welcoming staff, we made another great memory thanks to the Arizona Grand experience!!!

This was the first time I had played this course since it was Phantom Horse, so it was fun seeing the new layout. But it was also great to see the familiar holes. This course is quite challenging in places, but is also very fair in others. I only think hole 17 was unnecessarily brutal because of the pin placement the day I went, otherwise it was a very pleasant experience. I just wish it was a bit less to play, but that’s Arizona winter golf.

Great day at a Great course, but way too many tee times jammed close together. Marshall's did what they could,but with the amount of people it was almost 6 hours

Wouldn’t pay full rack rate for this course. Fairways and greens were a little sparse in places. Ball runs a mile. Greens were really fast. Pace of play was really slow. (Over 4 1/2 hours)

We booked a twilight round which said on the website "sunset" was closing time. The marshal said it was 5:15pm. I told him all three websites i looked up said sunset was 5:30. He ignored me. He met us at the 10th hole at 5:10 before we could tee off and said we were done. I told him there was still enough light for us to get 2 more holes in and he declined. As we headed in, there were at least 3 other groups that were playing still and he didn't nearly harass them as much as he did us likely because they were in their 50's. This is the second time this has happened and the last time I'll be playing there.

Course is one of my favorites view and back nine is amazing but construction in the course was confusing and we didn’t know it was going on

Arizona Grand is one of my favorite courses. The variation from residential to desert settings with the many high tee boxes is superb. Of course it is challenging so I play it for the views and fun of the course and don't worry too much about the score. The course conditions yesterday were absolutely terrific. The grass was thick and green yet well maintained. Unfortunately, I'll have to wait for prices to come back down this summer.

Good desert and links layout. Buy on sale for a great round and remember that hole #9 does not end up back at the clubhouse so bring food and water for the whole round. Great views of South Mountain Park and beyond.

This was my first time playing the course. Loved the layout and the course was more enjoyable. The greens were a little slow but good. Loved some tee shots that were blinded by the bends of the fairway but that was more enjoyable then straight all the times. Also love the elevation changes from the tee box and the fairways. Enjoyed the sales at the pro shop on merchandise. Would recommend this course to friends in the future.

The views adn scenery are fantastic and the staff is exceptional
