Arizona Biltmore Golf Club - Estates Course

About
Some consider the Estates course (formerly known as Adobe golf course) at the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club to be grand and stately, a prime example of golf course design in the pre-modern era, combining rare beauty with solid trickery. It makes for a round both relaxing and challenging played on lush 50-year-old fairways, with a spacious layout, reminding on of golf as it ought to be played: the glory days when graphite went into pencils and balls were only white.
The Adobe golf course at the Arizona Golf Club measures 6,430 yards from the white tees and comes in at par-71.
Due to the mild Arizona winters, the Adobe Golf Course at the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club is open year-round.

golf outing
nice course with great staff.
Go across the street to eat in the hotel, short walk great food
Nice layout, gorgeous views
If you are looking for a parklands style course where you are more likely to spot a MLBer at Spring training than a rattlesnake, this is a great course. Reachable par 5’s, and consistent greens makes this a target course for going low. No rocks and cactus. Water doesn’t come into play. Forgiving fairways. And did I mention gorgeous views! It’s a really pretty track. Played in just under 4 hrs. Couldn’t have asked for a better option. A tad pricey, but worth it for a high handicapper looking for a chance to break 90.
Week of sun and golf in AZ with my wife
We liked the Estates course. Keith is the best, helpful, considerate, fun, friendly guy at any course we've played!!!
good experience
A few of the holes were muddy but not too bad. The course was overall in good shape. The first few holes were ok but everything beyond hole 5 was excellent. Most of the Par 4s are on the shorter side and all the Par 3s are fairly easy. Some water hazards keep you on your toes. Most of the fairways were pretty wide open for the most part. The beverage cart came around 3 times which was solid. All the employees were nice and helpful. Pace of play was good but we went on a Monday so obviously not during their peak hours. Overall if you like having a good time and don't want to play a super difficult course, this is a good course to checkout.
Hidden Gem on the North Side
First time at Biltmore Estate course. Golf course was in excellent condition and the greens were fantastic. There are multiple tees for all levels of player and layout is challenging but fair. Don’t overlook this property during your visit to the valley.
Beautiful course
This was the first time playing the estates course at Arizona Biltmore. Price was a little high but I found it was well worth it. Staff was friendly and area was nice. Going to driving range was a little confusing since this was the first time. People would say go to hot dog stand and follow path along condos but I managed to get to the range and remembered the path after that. Driving range was hitting off mats but the chipping and putting greens were smooth and fast (possibly 10-11 on speed.). Played the front nine with members who were polite and friendly. Enjoyed the course and the greens were great. Fairway and bunkers were well kept. Would remcommend this course for others.
Biltmore Estates Golf Course
I was hoping that the course improvements would be a great thing. I was told the extra trees planted was to prevent errant balls from hitting other golfers.
This very flat course isn’t at all difficult, and by no means am I good at golfing but it seemed boring. The fairways and rough were in fantastic shape, the greens were rough, many of them seemed burned and just poorly taken care of.
I love the links course and will continue to play that one.
Fast greens good shape
Great practice facility. Estates Course easy. No trouble. Greens were good shape and FAST.
Got a Golfnow credit so made it “ reasonable” but I would not pay regular rate… too expensive for what it is. Not insulting the course just being realistic. Green fees are too much
Arizona Biltmore Estates Golf Course
Course has a lot of overwatered/water logged areas, which made it tough to get in/out of my cart without stepping in mud. Course layout was funky and hard to follow. There were several dried out brown fairway areas. There are several holes where you do not quite know where to hit your ball to . On some holes, It was hard to see the greens. The course was cart path only….. not my favourite…. Also, the tee markers were metallic, making it confusing to know from which colour you were hitting , as the sun washed them out. Staff were friendly and the views were wonderful.
Interesting track
Unique for the valley. Disappointed with greens. I expect fairways to improve after the overseed.
First Time on New Design/Warning on Parking
Our first time since the redesign, which is very nice, although as others have commented, there are a lot of wayward shots and golfers from other fairways on our fairway. Given the heat, the course and new trees are in great shape.
The only two negatives were our arrival experience and with the golf cart.
We arrived 45 minutes before our tee time, the new (beautiful) restaurant adjacent to the pro shop also has very, very large meeting space. There was a giant coffee meeting of realtors, resulting in absolutely no parking. There was a valet, but after 13 minutes of no movement in that line, we backed out and followed the bag attendant's advice to park in the Biltmore garage. This is 1/4 mile away, and it already was 90 degrees at 9:30 am. Walking back in the heat on asphalt was not fun and we no longer had time to warm up at the range or putting, barely making our tee time in a chaotic fashion. So, check ahead!
The staff couldn't be nicer, there is plenty of water, but we also experienced a problem with our cart on the last 3 out of 4 holes. It would prohibit us from moving forward, even though we were on the cart path. Our other playing partners had no problem. Multiple times we had to back up for over 50 yards, before we could move forward. Very frustrating. The staff said they had this problem before this summer with some carts. They did give us a ride back to our car, which was most appreciated.
