Arizona Biltmore Golf Club - Estates Course
About
Some consider the Estates course (formerly known as Adobe golf course) at the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club to be grand and stately, a prime example of golf course design in the pre-modern era, combining rare beauty with solid trickery. It makes for a round both relaxing and challenging played on lush 50-year-old fairways, with a spacious layout, reminding on of golf as it ought to be played: the glory days when graphite went into pencils and balls were only white.
The Adobe golf course at the Arizona Golf Club measures 6,430 yards from the white tees and comes in at par-71.
Due to the mild Arizona winters, the Adobe Golf Course at the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club is open year-round.

Course Looked Like a War Zone
Virtually every hole was under repair. No one in the clubhouse mentioned anything.
Under Repair
The course is getting a remodel right now and that I didn’t see that info when I booked it. This is usually a go to Course but the fairways were pretty burnt out and 18 has a temporary green in the middle of the fairway cutting off 140 yards of the par 5. Not sure how long it’s going to be like this but, I’d wait until they are done or make sure and play the Links course. Adobe is normally a great course and I’ll for sure be playing it again once it’s all repaired.
Biltmore Courses
This course could be a great course. At this time, the course is under repairs. There is a second course at this location, called Links and it too should be shut down for repairs.
The tee boxes are chewed up and full of weeds. The fairways are in poor shape and weedy. The greens are patchy, in poor shape, and have weeds and sand on them. the 19th hole will serve libations, but the kitchen is closed for upgrades for the next few weeks. I would not recommend this course at this time. It is not what you expect from a Biltmore course.
Solid option for mid-high handicappers
Solid option for mid-high handicappers. From the back or second tees, the course isn't too long, and is fairly straight. There aren't a lot of trees, traps, or water, but enough to keep it challenging. Fairways, tees, and greens all in very good/great condition. Almost all holes run parallel to each other, so a wayward drive will just land in the neighboring fairway or rough, rather than an unplayable desert. Not much elevation change either. Recommended.
adobe
The course in general was well kept and in good condition except the green. The greens had been punch a few weeks ago and with new grass coming in the greens were bumpy and painfully slow. When the greens come in better and get smoothed out it would be a good place to play.
Great course, pro shop, restaurant and food cart staff!
We had a great time on the Abode course. It was in good condition, several areas of cart path are under construction, but it didn’t effect play at all. The bag drop was friendly and helpful. The pro shop and restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. The snack cart ladies were friendly. The only issue we had was with the guys working in the cart area. They were neither helpful or friendly. They didn’t load our bags onto the cart, didn’t clean clubs after the round or even acknowledge us when we clearly were looking for guidance about which cart we were taking out, where to grab range balls and where to leave the cart after the round. The only help we had with the cart guys was asking them about the range balls, which was met with a guy literally holding out his hand, because he wanted to check the receipt for our purchase of the bucket of range balls. He didn’t even say anything to us.
Bad
Bad course layout way to crowded almost got hit with a ball each hole the idiot we got paired with were drunk and trying to fight us overall terrible experience
One Visit was enough
I played a Corporate event here the other day and I was NOT impressed! The course was under construction, but for the most part, I can see how this would be a nice well-maintained course under normal circumstances.
What made it a bad experience were the construction workers who were having a goof ol' time laughing and cursing obscenities while players were trying to enjoy their games. When I contacted the pro shop to complain while I was out on the course, they laughed. I guess they didn't't think their golf course guests deserved to play a game in peace. When I visited the pro shop afterwards to discuss the matter, it was very apparent that the staff could care less.
During lunch, the wait staff was very nonchalant. I couldn't even get a refill on my drink. When anyone in my group looked to place an order, the 1 waiter they assigned to our group of 30+ was too over whelmed to help us out.
I expected way more from a place that has Biltmore in the title. I wouldn't ever return for a second visit.
Easy fun course
I was in town on a random trip, and decided to bring my sticks along, booked the round on GolfNow, super easy. Showed up, the course was wide open, and I was out by myself all day, hit a couple balls per hole, had a blast.
Chaos
Played the adobe course with my cousin and it felt like we were in a shooting gallery. My cousin got fit in the fase with a ball two fairways away we were only on the sixth hole. This course is dangerous. We won’t be back to play there again
Underwhelmed
First impression, friendly and attentive staff. But,
Most range balls were dirty and or cut, so only hit a little more than half of them. Played the Adobe course. Bunkers, however, were excellent. Greens were slow and rolled true. Layout, though, lacked character and was disappointing. Nothing memorable about the course. Too many higher quality courses in the area, so don't waste your time or money there. Surprised it's a Biltmore property.
Straight away abd a challenge first time
I had an enjoyable first round on an outstanding 87 degree day. The staff is excellent!! I am goig to play the Links Course Wednesday and ecpect a more challenging ciourse managed by the same group of folks.
