Some consider the Estates course (formerly known as Adobe golf course) at the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club to be grand and stately, a prime example of golf course design in the pre-modern era, combining rare beauty with solid trickery. It makes for a round both relaxing and challenging played on lush 50-year-old fairways, with a spacious layout, reminding on of golf as it ought to be played: the glory days when graphite went into pencils and balls were only white.

The Adobe golf course at the Arizona Golf Club measures 6,430 yards from the white tees and comes in at par-71.

Due to the mild Arizona winters, the Adobe Golf Course at the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club is open year-round.

No space between fairways - had one ball bounce off our cart and several other close misses. Almost got hit on the driving range from someone teeing off of #1 - Bring a helmet. Small sloping greens with tough pin placements. More like a muni course than a resort course. Won't be back.

Very nice

Arizona Biltmore is a resort course designed to be fair , forgiving and played quickly. I played from the back tees ( around 6500 yards ) as a single and finished in an hour and 55 minutes. The course is well maintained and the greens are outstanding. I myself would like a little more variety in the holes.

Good rate on Golfnow

Beautiful surroundings. Good greens.

Very enjoyable , Many Par 4's are a bit long for me,

(par 4.s that approach 400 yds )

Foreward tees at 5600 make it long for me but no excuse with generous fairways.

Pleasant resort course.

Course layout was uninspired. Though Mountain View’s added to overall experience. Errant shots by golfers on adjacent fairways/holes a real hazard. Almost hit by three different golfers during the round. Course was in good condition. Slow but true greens. Ok course for a resort

5 star prices, 3 star golf

Biltmore Resort is beautiful and well worth seeing but the golf is mediocre at best. High lites include the Frank Lloyd Wright stained glass wall titled Saguarro in the hotel lobby, and the food and service at the Adobe Cafe in the golf club house (although they were actually out of burgers when we finished our round at 4:30 pm). The Adobe course is flat and relatively featureless, perhaps typical of resort courses called “for golfers of all levels”. Serious golfers need beware of overrated resort courses; not all are of quality like Doral or Kiawah.

Excellent round

We had a great day of golf. Course was in great shape, we enjoyed a perfect pace of play, not backed up at all and no one pushing us. Nice amenities and practice facilities, good price, food and shopping afterwards. We are higher handicap golfers and this course was friendly, but challenging.

We had a good time however, they really should have had a ranger due to multiple single players that could and should have been paired up!

Ugly

Took 1 hour to play 2 holes, yes 1 bloody hour. They had bookings every 8 minutes and cart path only,4 groups backed up at 2 nd hole.Took 5 and a half hours to play, no marshal to move slow players on.This club is a joke, stay away and save your nerves.

I wish they had told us

Probably the worst Green conditions I have ever seen. There was good reason as they had oversewed the course and apparently just reopened 2 days earlier. Having said that we should have been advised in advance now I know why we got such a good rate!
