Some consider the Estates course (formerly known as Adobe golf course) at the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club to be grand and stately, a prime example of golf course design in the pre-modern era, combining rare beauty with solid trickery. It makes for a round both relaxing and challenging played on lush 50-year-old fairways, with a spacious layout, reminding on of golf as it ought to be played: the glory days when graphite went into pencils and balls were only white.

The Adobe golf course at the Arizona Golf Club measures 6,430 yards from the white tees and comes in at par-71.

Due to the mild Arizona winters, the Adobe Golf Course at the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club is open year-round.

One of my favorite courses

AZ Biltmore is one of my favorite golf destinations. I always seem to play well here. Course is in great condition. Play was a little slow today, but it is Open week, so I'm giving a pass this time. I like the Links course over Adobe because the fairways, greens, and tee boxes are a little tight on Adobe. Several errant shots came pretty close to my foursome today while standing near tee boxes and even in our own fairway. Don't remember that being the case when I played the Links course. Nonetheless, I still love the Biltmore and can often find great deals on golfnow.

Over booked.

Nice course. Started on schedule at 2;20. A lot of waiting. On the 12th hole we received a message saying all carts to be back in 45 minutes. No notice when booking or paying. Sneaky and bad business, pay for 18 but play 14. Overbook the course for the cash.

Course is well maintained. Greens were very good and fairways/tee boxes in good condition

Course is in terrific condition, but it’s a “boring layout”.... flat and back & forth fairways. The “sister course” (Links) is much more interesting and enjoyable!!!

Fast play and good condition

Played in less than four hours. Greens were in great shape along with the rest of the course. Carts are super fast with good GPS on-board. Course is forgiving with tough greens defending to still make it challenging.

Nice Round

You can tell this is an older course. It is pretty straight forward on rather flat terrain. Some holes the fairways are rather close and opposing. The sand was in very good shape and there is very little water that comes into play. It's not a real long course so should be a good test for older and beginning golfers. The practice green was MUCH faster than the greens on the course so that threw us off for a few holes. Played in just under 4 hours and waited on most of the holes but only briefly.

Boring track, worth maybe half the money

look, just because it's old and historic, doesn't make it good. It's a well-manicured polo field, with no imagination or difficulty. Plus you get to pay an extra $10 to hit off artificial mats, when there are 25 yards of perfect/lush grass in front of them....felt like I was on a trailer park golf course back in Florida. I paid $69 but the rate was $89, not worth half of that in my opinion. Fairways and greens were in great shape, just could not believe how flat and boring the course was.

A treat

I make a point to play here every time I’m in Phoenix. We added a fifth player

At the last minute and the staff accommodated us flawlessly. Course was in excellent condition. We played the Links. Some tight and demanding holes-fun!

Worth the price

Got a deal on GolfNow for $31 for 18 holes. The course is well maintained, is straightforward but the huge bunkers surrounding the greens get u. The coolest feature was the interactive screen on the cart. It had the course layout with hole by hole details and in built range finder. It even threatens to shut down the cart if u drive too close to the greens

Good Experience

Enjoyed the course. Broad fairways and very forgiving - hard to lose a ball unless hit into the water. Greens can be a little tricky. Enjoyable!

No space between fairways - had one ball bounce off our cart and several other close misses. Almost got hit on the driving range from someone teeing off of #1 - Bring a helmet. Small sloping greens with tough pin placements. More like a muni course than a resort course. Won't be back.

Very nice

Arizona Biltmore is a resort course designed to be fair , forgiving and played quickly. I played from the back tees ( around 6500 yards ) as a single and finished in an hour and 55 minutes. The course is well maintained and the greens are outstanding. I myself would like a little more variety in the holes.
