Arizona Biltmore Golf Club - Estates Course
About
Some consider the Estates course (formerly known as Adobe golf course) at the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club to be grand and stately, a prime example of golf course design in the pre-modern era, combining rare beauty with solid trickery. It makes for a round both relaxing and challenging played on lush 50-year-old fairways, with a spacious layout, reminding on of golf as it ought to be played: the glory days when graphite went into pencils and balls were only white.
The Adobe golf course at the Arizona Golf Club measures 6,430 yards from the white tees and comes in at par-71.
Due to the mild Arizona winters, the Adobe Golf Course at the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club is open year-round.

Great course
Very nice course in beautiful condition. Very much a resort course. Got the rate via hot deals on Golf Now. Wouldn’t have paid the full price as there are nicer courses for the same price.
Average resort layout
This course is showing its age and a lack of upkeep, certainly not worth the walk up rate of $139.00, or the hot rate of $79.00. It is relatively short, 6400 yards from the black tips, with just about every hole dead straight with little character. The greens were slow, probably about an 8 on the stimp, which was surprising on a bright warm day in Phoenix. The “sand” traps were nothing but gravel and dirt around the entire course. This was a very disappointing experience when I had such high hopes with such a historic facility.
Great time!
As a single, I was paired with two very nice guys. Played in 3:45 hours in spite of briefly waiting on most holes for the foursomes in front of us. Great golf and a good time.
Price performance
Played Adobe course. Driving range shabby at best. Could have walked the course. Not worth the green fees.
Greens
Wish the greens were a little better to many ball divot marks not repaired. But overall beautiful course
Slow Play
In the past this has not been a "golf factory" A 5 hour round is ridiculous. Tee times should be 8 minutes at a minimum.
I really like this course, upkeep, etc and will return when I hear that the rounds are near 4 hours.
Arizona Biltmore Adobe Course
Course in excellent condition, Some challenging bunker placements around the greens, otherwise pretty straight and flat fairways with few other hazards
Biltmore
Nice course friendly staff and the pace of play was excellent for a Saturday morning 3.5 hours
Single player outing
First time playing at the Biltmore adobe - was greeted by friendly staff, got some range balls, and lined up with a single and a couple. Course was in good shape with a fairly traditional lay out. The first nine play seemed slow but with a couple of dropouts ahead of us we were able to finish 18 before dark. Overall a good outing.
Great for a casual round
Adobe is best when you just want to enjoy a round of old school golf. The course was in immaculate shape despite two complaints: slow greens and TERRIBLE bunkers. That's understandable given their average clientele.
It is not fair to compare this track to the Troons and Grayhawks and Phoenicians down the road, because it's not trying to be like them.
The small greens will challenge an otherwise short track, but very player-friendly. No desert to be found, very little trouble, perfect to bring a friend who is in town from cold weather who doesn't get to play often and may need to knock a lot of rust off.
For those griping about the price, they do not realize the entire course is overseeded. You won't see any brown, dormant Bermuda anywhere. A welcome sight indeed. Sit back, relax, and enjoy great views of Piestewa Peak (great group photo op on 8 or 17). I always enjoy this course.
Nicw, wide open, nothing fancy
Biltmore is a really posh area of Phoenix, fabulous houses, shopping. But Adobe is a pretty ordinary golf course. Straightforward, nothing fancy, but enjoyable.
Past its prime
This was a "hot deal" so I paid $70 plus tax & fees. The regular rate was $130 plus tax, etc. At $130 it is outrageous...it is barely worth $70. The driving range was all sand; the carts were beat up and the cart paths were in rough shape. Biltmore is living on its reputation of some years in the past. There are much better conditioned courses in the area that I will give my business to.
Great Course
Great course and in excellent condition. Very playable and worth the money.
AZ Biltmore + Adobe course = FUN
I have played this course for years. It is an old school type course but for Arizona that’s a plus.
The course was in great shap. The staff was friendly and attentive as always and the food was great.
If you haven’t played this course you should, it has 270 degrees of scenic views to boot.
Good value; old school track.
First tee time in the morning so 3:15 to play. Course was in good shape; greens were smooth but not super fast. Very old school design; pretty much back and forth parallel holes.
For the time of the year reasonably priced.
