Arizona Biltmore Golf Club - Estates Course
About
Some consider the Estates course (formerly known as Adobe golf course) at the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club to be grand and stately, a prime example of golf course design in the pre-modern era, combining rare beauty with solid trickery. It makes for a round both relaxing and challenging played on lush 50-year-old fairways, with a spacious layout, reminding on of golf as it ought to be played: the glory days when graphite went into pencils and balls were only white.
The Adobe golf course at the Arizona Golf Club measures 6,430 yards from the white tees and comes in at par-71.
Due to the mild Arizona winters, the Adobe Golf Course at the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club is open year-round.

great shape greens inconsistent
course looks good, rough is thick and long...miss the fairway forget it ... greens were inconsistent.. some slow and others perfectly fast
Popular Central City classic in Fine shape !
I'm fortunate to live just down the road -so convenient ! First Jullian was accommodating in that My Pal ran into delays & He expediently sorted that out 4Us.
Fairways have improved up at the beginning of the green complexes where they'd stressed & got a bit thin a while back. Sand in the bunkering is actually "fluffy", definitely WAY better than most this time of year ! Green speed was noticeably quicker than usual & rolled really well.
The staff there, Blake at the desk and Jimmy & Rosie outside & on cart duty just seem like pleasant People which adds to an enjoyable round of Golf at the Biltmore. Thank You Folks !
Very good course, reasonably priced, nice city views
The attention given to the golfer by staff is exceptional. They are very friendly and helpful. The Adobe Course provided greens and fairways in better than average condition despite the summer heat. The bunkers were well-kept and contained nice soft sand - a rarity at many other courses in the valley. The course is flat with generous fairways. The challenges are primarily around the greens with strategically placed bunkers. There are some nice city skyline views combined with great looks at Camelback Mountain. I started at 9 am. and finished at 11 am! I will definitely return and try the more challenging Links Course.
"A" for Adobe
Whenever I need a convenient, enjoyable and complete round of golf in Phoenix in the midsummer, I head to the Adobe course at the Arizona Biltmore. Conveniently located in the center of Phoenix on the Camelback Corridor, the Adobe delivers resort quality golf in a location that is nestled in the center of town. My twosome completed an unimpeded round in three easy hours given our late morning tee time. The greens were clean and true with hardly a ball mark anywhere. Fairways were in good condition and not overly moist allowing for adequate roll off the tee. Staff were friendly and showed a customer friendly demeanor.
Getting my golf in a timely, enjoyable manner and in a very convenient location makes for a great day on the course , never mind the score card .
Premier course...super time!!!
I had such a fun time playing the course forr the first time!!! It was in great shape in the hottest time of the year unlike other courses in the area. Plus the employees greeting & helping me were
So pleasant and helped to increase my experience.
To top it off I went into the restaurant for a nice cool drink and was greeted by more pleasant employees.
I definitely consider this golf experience as one of my best!!!
Nice Course
The Biltmore is always a nice course to play. This round the course was pretty rough do to the extreme heat we have had. But then they are no different than any of the other local course for they all are pretty rough right now.
Over all the Biltmore is worth playing when the rates are affordable.
Great Course
Course was good, greens were maintained and consistent. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Course MUCH Improved
The Adobe course was very much improved over the last time I played it.
I would recommend this course again.
Fun Day
Enjoyed a good round on a hot day. Received a friendly greeting from everyone I ran into. The course was mostly in very good condition and the greens, while a little slow, were in great shape and putted true. I'll be back!
Adobe
I was surprised by how flat the golf course was, staff was excellent at all points of contact with them, they could use a sign after the 9th hole directing you to where 10 tee box was, most greens (if not all) were surrounded by sand traps, the golf carts were nice, the fairways were a bit brown and bald in spots, the greens were nice, tee boxes were flat. Just a nice basic course with awesome customer service.
Adobe
This is a great course over all. The staff are great and take care of the golfer from the moment you arrive. Parking is the only downside before getting to your round. Get past that and this course or the links will give you a run for your score card. The range is well kept but the astro turf needs maintenance or change to natural grass. It's a solid course to go big if you have the drives and finess on par 3s. Amenities are top on the list and the cart lady is on point. Pace of play was very good other than 2 holes we kept on pace all round. Already boasted to fellow golfers of a return. Great job to all the people that create this golfing joy of a course.
An average muni named after a quality hotel
Course layout was below par for a quality Valley venue. Flat and unimaginative. Grass condition was fair at best. Greens were better. Traps were a joke. Range balls, which were $10 extra, were torn up and full of dirt. Hard to believe such a low end course is in such a beautiful neighborhood of million dollar homes.
First Time, Not Bad
Only reason I give the course a 4 Star on condition is because of sand in bunkers. Other than that the course was beautiful, greens rolled true, tee boxes were nice. Wide open course. Group in front of us we’re getting off the green every time we tee’d up so pace of play was perfect. Will be back!
good it its under 40 dollars
Right now they are asking too much for summer conditions. Greens are getting kind of crispy. #16 was toasted down to the sand. For 25-30 bucks it would be worth it. Its a fun easy course to go work on your long drives and not worry too much about losing a ball, especially on the front nine.
Great course
Played at 2 pm on a Saturday and there was no other group in sight of ours; we were able to relax and enjoy our round. Greens were pretty slow but other than that it was a great round and I will play again.
Always enjoy the Biltmore
I live close and have played both courses dozens of times in the past few years. The staff is always excellent and accommodating. Yesterday, I actually played 9 on the Links and 9 on the Adobe. I prefer the Links; however right not the Adobe is in better shape. The Links greens are slow and a bit bumpy now but the Adobe are good. It's not crowded at all so you can play fast if you want and the price is right. Get some good ice water by the cart station before you start. The cart girls are always great.
