Arizona Biltmore Golf Club - Estates Course
About
Some consider the Estates course (formerly known as Adobe golf course) at the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club to be grand and stately, a prime example of golf course design in the pre-modern era, combining rare beauty with solid trickery. It makes for a round both relaxing and challenging played on lush 50-year-old fairways, with a spacious layout, reminding on of golf as it ought to be played: the glory days when graphite went into pencils and balls were only white.
The Adobe golf course at the Arizona Golf Club measures 6,430 yards from the white tees and comes in at par-71.
Due to the mild Arizona winters, the Adobe Golf Course at the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club is open year-round.

Top 5 best golf days ever!!!
It couldn't have been better. Played with an old college buddy from out of town. Course conditions, service, weather were all perfect!
The hot dogs are the best I've ever had!
Construction everywhere
For such a prestigious course, construction crews everywhere. Noisy and messy. Greens were furry and slow. Pace and staff were great. Disappointed in course conditions.
Beautiful course
Nice course .beautiful views. Greens are a little slow but normal for this time of year. Will certainly be back with friends
Great Course for the Money
fairways are in great conditoin even during the hottest times in July and Aug
Greens could be a bit better during the summer but in the fall and spring months they are very fast..
Very fun course, never gets backed up where you have to wait for others to tee off and the views are awesome..
Horrible
Overpriced drinks that taste like dirt, $10 bloody Mary's with mold in mix. Course conditions look like adobe's family 9 in Peoria, save $ or go moon valley or stone creek course or orange tree much better value and course.
Need signages
Great course, but little confusing about some of the t holes that you're on . some don't have sign.
Slow Sunday
Could do with more course Marshalls to keep the pace moving.
Rather play Links Course ,better scenery and more hazards to contend with.
We got a great rate and the course is in good condition.
A Good Solid Course, Nothing Fancy
The real estate surrounding this course would rival that of any other place in the world. Welcome to the home of Phoenix wealth. And I mean serious wealth. As for the course, the fairways and greens were in good condition. As for a golf challenge, the course is really pretty straight forward. I never found any of the holes a difficult challenge. With repeat rounds, I seriously would expect to be playing in the 70s every time out.
This course was not what I expected.
The course was hard to navigate and some of the tee boxes didn't have any markings to let you know what hole you were at. The staff was nice, and the cart girl, but other than that I didn't really enjoy much else about this course.
Not what we expected
For a quality resort we we're very disappointed in the Adobe course. The facilities are dated, the fairways were bare in many places and the greens were covered with pine needless nd they were bumpy and slow. We won't go back.
First and fast time at the Biltmore
Played a tournament with a group of friends. Managed horribly by the staff. Course was in poor shape, although this is typical in June in Arizona. Everyone seems to be punching greens now.
Exceptional service
i paired up with another local player. The course was wide open in this triple digit heat. Adobe is fairly wide open with no desert cactus in the way, so you can easily find your golf ball. The local player was very friendly and he pointed out where to aim and avoid. We finished front 9 in about an hour and 15 minutes. I dropped one of my head covers back there, but I was not going back to look for it in this heat. We didn't see anyone in front nor behind us til no.16 hole. We finished 18 holes in less than 3 hours. That was awesome in this heat.
I went in and informed the assistant manager, Mitch, about my head cover. He was very polite and quickly informed his staffs to check with the later groups.
US Open was on TV, so I stay and watch it while waited. I overheard one player called and was having a hard time finding yardage marker, so Mitch offered to lend him a rangefinder, then he had one of his staff brought it to the guy. Wha a thoughtful young man. That showed Biltmore's superb customer service and well run management.
Sure enough, someone from the next group found it and the staff brought it over to me.
Old, classic track
Not a lot of frills. Just basic, traditional, straight fairways type golf. In very good condition and enjoyed the day. I was paired up with a delightful retired gal. We had our own carts and we flew thru the course in 3 hours. Didn't mean to play so fast but there wasn't any trouble to get into. The most difficult part was the dirt bunkers. Not sand, fluffy dirt and I've never played out of that type of stuff before. It took some getting used to so I made a point to really try to avoid them. Got a great price on Golf Now. It's now off my bucket list but I would go back if the price was right.
Horrible sand traps
The golf course is in great shape but for having such a nice course the sand traps are filled with dirt and rocks. Be careful with your clubs.
Friendly layout
Played this course for the first time. Very nice golf course the fairways and greens were in great shape. Greens were a little slow they day I played. Very forgiving layout!! All staff members from the outside service to the food and beverage were very friendly.
Used to be a favorite...NOW, not so much!!!
I've been playing at the Biltmore for the past 10 years. I must say, the conditions and value have decreased drastically over the past couple years. It's not that we're almost out of the golf season either. The carts need replacing. The cart paths are beat up and cause a bumpy ride (granted it could be that the carts are in such bad shape as well). They no longer have GPS for the carts. I asked one of the cart guys and he told me the company that provided the GPS went out of business. Ok, but what is the plan going forward to replace them? He said they put a few 100/150/200 yard markers along the cart paths and possibly a GPS app, but there are no plans to replace GPS units in the carts. I'm ok with an app, but then you need to look at options for charging devices while on the course.
The greens are terribly beat up. There were divot marks everywhere and it was impossible to putt. There were a lot of areas on the course that seemed like they could be ground under repair, but it didn't appear that any repair was under way.
There were no starters on a Sunday, which caused major back ups. It's like they were just attempting to collect as many greens fee's as possible and sending people out. I booked as a single and was paired up with another guy to make a two some. In fromt of us was another single, who was behind a two-some, behind another two-some. With a little planning, foursomes could have been paired up to speed things up.
$35 was a decent price, but I guess you get what you pay for. I'll probably play again, but only because it's convenient. Just know there are better options out there
Good course
Good course. Will be back to play again next year.
Adobe OK
Fairly easy course layout & nice surroundings. Parallel fairways somewhat dangerous. Golf cart hit by approach shot. First nine pace of play was great. No holdup at all. Turned the corner & found lot of backup. Couldn't figure out where all the golfers came from?? Pace of play went to a crawl. Overall a really nice experience. Great value via on-line booking.
BILTMORE LINKS
WE LIKED IT SO MUCH WE ARE PLAYING AGAIN THIS MONDAY, I FELL IN THE CLUBHOUSE, TRIPPED OVER THE STAIRS AND I HAD THREE STAFF PEOPLE THERE
