About
Camelback Golf Club features two courses, Padre and Ambiente (formerly known as Indian Bend Course). The Ambiente Course underwent a major renovation in 2013. Making the course more eco friendly was one of the major goals of the renovation in addition to improving the layout's playability for a wider range of skill levels. The creatively shaped greens offer a variety of different putting options that present interesting risk-reward opportunities. The renovation added 100 acres of native desert and grass areas that add not only beauty but also require a third less water. Rolling terrain is the defining characteristic of the Ambiente Course, from the undulating fairways to dramatic drops in elevation. There are five sets of tees with forward tees that have easier approach angles and no forced carried, allowing even beginners to approach the golf course with confidence.

Very nice
A staff with a positive outlook. And engaged. No, that’s not why I golf, but it sure gets the round started on a plus. Sometimes that counts, especially on that first tee.
Course was immaculate - tee boxes, fairways, approaches, greens - impressive.
Great course. Beautiful setting.
The. Purse is beautiful, and the homes on the course are exceptionally nice. I played the Ambiente course, and the back nine was straight back into the wind (storm coming in). We had a great time playing into a 50 mph wind! We didn’t score well but had fun with the extra challenge!
Fast greens
Had a great time on this course, just enough challenging holes to make it fun but not too difficult
Enjoy yourself
Tees, fairways and greens were in fine shape. A little rough around the edges which takes away from the beauty of the property as well as the adjacent homes.

Great course & Layout. Greens were excellent.
Pricy but was able to get a discounted tee time for a single.
Because of labor shortage bar/ restaurant was closed early after round completed

Good challenging layout and conditions
Played on 02/28. Course was in great shape all around, and greens were fast. Nice challenging layout and scenic, especially if you like to dream about owning one of the beautiful homes you see along the course. Very good on course signage from hole to hole.
Currently some construction going on at some nearby homes, but not really much of a noise problem. Completed our round is 4 hr 20 min, with very minimal waiting for our 4 some. Staff was very friendly. Great drinks at the 19th hole.
Tough course but a good challenge—

Perfect atmosphere
Really nice links course in great shape. Very friendly staff making playing here a joy. They do pack in tee times so the pace of play is pretty relaxed but i am on vacation.
Nice but overpriced
ok layout , resort course - conditions were about average for this time of year - pretty consistent greens, bunkers some variability in sand condition , fairways and rough good . It’s not a $280 a round course, unless like me you made very last minute reservations, and couldn’t get on anywhere else.
Wouldn’t recommend at that price - and will plan better next time to avoid this price /place
