Pine at McCormick Ranch Golf Club

Trees are gone so the front 9 is wide open. The back 9 is nice. Good layout challenging shots

Course is pleasant on the eye and easy enough to play if you keep everything in the fairway. Outside of that the grass is flat and dry so it feels like hitting off hard dirt.

The greens were fast and the pins were often in quite impossible positions so even if you got there in regulation, you could walk away with a bogey or double.

Well conditioned, player friendly course. Greens very fast and undulating making approach shots a premium. Friendly staff.

I have played this course numerous times , the fairways are great and the greens roll pretty nice but for some reason if you’re off the fairway there is nothing to hit off of. It’s probably one of the more reasonable courses around ( price ) but still over $100.00. Golf is getting too expensive to play in Scottsdale ( dynamic pricing) the sad part is maybe people need to look elsewhere. Staff was friendly but pace of play was terrible.

As usual, a solid value. Range balls a classy perk. Terrific golf carts with gps also top notch. The course was in good condition with the only slight criticism being hard greens and several really dry and hard areas. Enjoyable experience

Played the Pine Course, course was in bad condition. Not worth the money.

Phoenix golf for $150, high season equals a $60 course in Sacramento California all year. Oh well I guess I don’t have a choice?

Course in rough shape esp. for $150. The greens themselves were good but the fairways, tee boxes and bunkers were poor

I realize it is Scottsdale, but the course was way over priced. The condition of the course did not warrant the price of the green fees. The tee boxes were terrible and if you were off the fairway, your were hitting off dead pan. The greens were spotty. I cannot recommend this course to anyone! I really regret having to give this poor review because I've always enjoyed the course in the past. Sorry!

Another lousy experience and likely my last for the year. Last year I even had a season pass but the experience continues to be a sham at that price. I was paired with a family of 3 and the attendant placed my bag with the mother and from all the way at the driving range started shouting that my bag needs to be removed as we would be playing different tees. Then the husband came to the rescue and got another cart for me to ride solo which a different club attendant quickly opposed. At some point I even volunteered to walk the course. Not worth it at all!!!

This course is well kept and I can’t say enough about the staff. From the clubhouse staff to the starter and the Players assistant. Everyone was super friendly.

It’s not target golf which makes it fun for all skill levels. But challenging enough from the longer tee boxes.

Would be great if there was a calculated “combo” for women.

This course was highly recommended Toni’s and I can’t figure out why. It’s in awful condition. Bare ground on almost every hole. Tee boxes are scruffy and hard. The lay out is fine, but not super interesting. It is definitely not a $150 course at the moment. Greens were in good shape, the staff was all friendly and the pace was good for how busy it was.

Amenities were average.

I won’t be recommending this place or likely playing here again.
