About
The Pine Course at the McCormick Ranch Golf Club offers mature pines, in an appropriate contrast to its sibling golf course, the Pine Course, and is also narrower than the other golf course. What they have in common include the facts that Desmond Muirhead designed both of them and they both date back to 1972; recent renovations have also given both golf courses new greens, sand traps and bridges.
The Pine at McCormick Ranch Golf Club measures 7,187 yards, kicking off on a 398-yard par 4 that requires tee shot toward the fairway's center, leaving golfers a mid- to short-iron from the green, which slopes narrowly. Things get long by the fourth hole, one of four par-5 holes that come in at over 500 yards; this one, for example, makes you place your drive well toward right-center if you want to shoot for it in two. Close out the round of golf on the 18th hole, another long one, at 517 yards from the blue tees, and a tight hole to drive that will, thankfully, provide your last test for the day.

What Are you Thinking ?
I'M 11 HANDICAP Love a challenge but a fair challenge .Maturaty of your Golfers are visitors this time of the year most players havn't played in 5 months but you have greens running at # 12 speed you have holes over 400 yards that you have to hit on Islands surrounded with water .Bottom line this not the PGA Tour .SLOW DOWN THE GREEN GET MAJORITY OF PLAYERS TO MOVE UP AT LEAST TO BROWN TEES This would help for faster play and your golfer to enjoy there round even more.

Tee boxes in terrible shape. The rough is a swamp. So many better options in this price range.
The new greens are definitely what makes it more challenging
Had not played the course sine the renovation of the greens
Also not since the big storm that took many trees out
Was a very pleasant round.
Fair
Place was fine… some staff was nice, not all. A Lot of money for the round.
Had top shelf service, great food and a better time at another course for much less. Just down the road. Maybe that was the difference. But it matters. Felt like a number. Not a valued guest.
Worn Out
Have played McCormick Ranch several times, but felt the course desperately needed some love. Tee boxes were beat up, greens weren’t smooth and the rough was … rough.
Nice layout but not great condition
Greens were fast but many bare spots. Price was a little high for condition.
