Starfire 18 Hote Course
Odd layout weaving through the residental areas - fariways lined with very dense housing is not very attractive - many holes are noisy along very busy main roads (Hayden, Cactus, Shea) - carts very dirty - no gps on carts - no ice cooler on carts - water bottle filler stations on course were not functioning.

Not worth the money
$175 bucks to play a round, we were the first ones out and someone barely showed up to check us in. While the course is challenging, the conditions around the fairways is not great. Lots of bare ground, mud, and really not well maintained. For the price to play here at this time of the year, I’d expect the course to be in MUCH better shape.

High cost for the layout and course conditions. And then they have the gall to charge for range balls.
Pace of play was slow - over 4.5 hours on a weekday. Yet no one was out there managing it.

The pace of play was 5 hours. No ranger on the course to keep things moving. No beverage cart person. It was 90 degrees out. Dirt and bare spots all over the rough area. They should refund my money. Very bad.

1.The pace of play was very slow. Perhaps having a starter and ranger would be helpful?
2. The carts lack a windshield...for what purpose?
3.The young men working at outside services worked very hard trying to get the carts turned over.

The first y I ung man we talked to was very friendly and kind. The 2nd gentleman was kind of rude. The signage for how to get to the next holes were not very good and as we moved to the back 9, the people mowing were holding up play and it was very distracting.

The pace of play was perfect....4 hours and 10 minutes. We never had to wait. It was so nice to play at a pace that wasn't as slow as molasses in January!
The carts are unique...no windshield. Strange.

Lack of carts, range is basically dirt, no starter or course marshals. They are upgrading the 9 hole course, but it seems like they are not attending to the King 18.
