Great Course for Lower cost!
We golf this course every year we come out. Great price, Great staff, and great course conditions!
Starfire for 2nd time
Played course again, played with wife and brought guest from out of town . He absolutely loved the course, couldn’t stop talking about it! He said “no way this is a public course”
Got around in just over 4 hours…had to wait pretty much every hole…think time was like 4:10.
Well kept course…would definitely play again!

Fun day at Starfire
Played with friends and really enjoyed Starfire today. Course in great shape and had wonderful pace of play. Stayed for happy hour after our round. Food, beverages and service were excellent.

Good pace good conditions except tee boxes were not receptive to tees ( hard to put ter in )

Our maintenance team has a plan in place starting this month and through the summer to loosen those tee complexes up to make them more "tee receptive."

Tee boxes an absolute disgrace. Need a hammer to get tees in!

Our maintenance team recognizes that our newly soded tees need to be aerified to loosen them up a bit. We have that scheduled this month and will continue through the summer.

Very Slow Play
Was a very slow round… quit after 9 holes due to back up!! Not worth $150/player for 9 holes.
Disappointing!! Had a large bachelor party group that were combining groups. Not right!

We take speed of play seriously and make sure our course marshals and starters are continually working with our golfers on their pace. It looks as though we missed an opportunity, and we will continue to improve.

Seriously we played in 3 hours 50 minutes... and they still said something. Course is jammed into a subdivision.
Was going to have a beverage after but not with that attitude

Good value
Good golf course for the cost. Not a real difficult course but fun to play. Greens were pretty good. I will play it again.

Hidden Gem
When you park you'll see the driving range and the par 3 course which may not impress you. Once you go into the beautiful club house, check in, get in a newer golf cart and drive to the 18 hole course you'll be pleasantly surprised. Best value in Scottsdale during our 3 week stay.

Wow $140
Don’t get me wrong I don’t mind paying for what I think it’s worth the price! But at $140 to play at Starfire I think it’s a little much!? I know that is kind of ridiculous at this point in time but we’re the ones that suffer.

Starfire works hard on a competitive analysis looking at comparable courses in our market and adjusts the rates accordingly to stay competitive. As you know, the rates will fluctuate throughout the day and season and we hope you will come join us again for another round at a more favorable price point.

Great course conditions.
Golf was great but we were disappointed that they ran out of snacks at the turn and the clubhouse restaurant and bar was closed after our round. (5:00pm)

Slow Play
If you want a 5 hour round of golf Starfire is your place. Excellent course - pace of play was the one of worst I have ever played.
