Legend Trail Golf Club

We always play Legend Trail when we are in Scottsdale. Definately one of our favorites, beautiful layout, good course conditions and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend playing.

Course was 3 weeks removed overseed so greens were not quite up to speed but quick enough. Definitely a #target/desert golf course but reasonably sized lqnding areas. Traps in good shape (thankfully) got paired with regular which helped as im sure i would have gotten burned otherwise. Id rate this with Troon north or Wildfire. Bar and grill very basic and not up to par with the course. Wish i could afford to play it more

Played 2 weeks after the winter over seed. Course was in great shape but the greens were still a little slow and bumpy. That will get better over the next few weeks. Quite a drive from old town Scottsdale but worth the trip if you want a challenging course in good condition. Helps to play it a few time to realize where to hit the ball but the same is true for many courses.

Greens very slow and staff treated us like necessary revenue versus welcom paying customers. Last trip to this track 2.5 years ago much better. Until they correct both pieces would recommend you look elsewhere.

Beautiful course with a variety of tee boxes to challenge all levels of players. The re-seeding caused slightly furry greens and cart path only, but pace was still swift at 3.5 hrs. for a Sunday 18!

GolfNow needs to start notifying golfers of the conditions of the course. I pulled up to the course after an hour drive and it was brown and scalped. Then you had these huge tractors driving throughout the round blowing grass cuttings everywhere. The course looks to be a fun track but because of the conditions it was a distraction. Even when speaking to the pro-shop no concerns what so ever and still had the never to ask for full price in these conditions.

Greens were slightly bumpy from the punching but were almost perfect. Greens rolled about a 10. Can get them much faster with the undulating greens.

I would rank it about 8.5 for condition

Always a pleasure to play Legend Trail, summer pricing is very competitive and course is in good condition (especially for end of summer).

The course is almost up to the Carefree Hwy off Pima, and never seems to be too crowded. Fairways and greens are generous, and pretty plush for the season. Greens roll pretty quick and smooth, and the greens hold approach shots well. Course staff is friendly and helpful, one of my favorites when you can get a discounted price. Highly recommended!

Love this course. Challenging, not too long (I'm 68).

Great setting. Range could use some work

I've been fortunate to have played at Legend Trail close to a couple dozen times. Usually in Summer because of OUTSTANDING Golf Now deals & this facility never disappoints.

First Trevor met up W/Me to grab My bag then asked questions to see how He was able to help. Effective as I mentioned that Mark in the Pro shop knew I was running way behind & a single.

Those who've been there know the practice area is right there so once loosened up you're off to play, it is a nice set up for sure. On course it is demanding as gettin' in play off the tee in a must. Plays long if not and the green complexes undulation need exacting attention to avoid 3putting. Bein' on the correct portion of those greens HELPS !

I truly love Legend Trail. It is one of, if not my favorite course in the greater Phoenix area. It is a fair test of golf, that builds throughout the round. Starting off easy and gradually getting more complex as the round goes on is a great feat of the designer!

The Pro-shop is always well stocked and has some great offerings. The staff is attentive and personable.

The course was in amazing shape for early August, but I have never been here when it wasn't!

F&B is slightly limited in the summer, but they were still more than accommodating as they even turned the grill back on after closing to grill up 2 quick hot dogs at the turn. The staff was super friendly about the situation and was very interactive and attentive during our wait.

The beverage cart made last call while we were on the front nine, but she communicated this fact twice with us and was more than helpful in our options on her last stop.

The staff and superintendent should be very proud of the work they do. We always have a great time here and will look to play here more regularly in the future! It rivals all of the courses in the nearby vicinity without the hefty price tags!
