About
The Talking Stick Golf Club, designed by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, offers two uniquely different courses that each offer many options according to your playing skill. The Piipaash course (previously known as South at Talking Stick Golf Club), with its tree-lined fairways and raised greens defended at the sides offers a more straightforward style of play than the O'odham Course (formerly known as North at Talking Stick Golf Club).
A round of golf on the Piipaash Course at the Talking Stick Golf Club kicks off on a par-4 hole that measures 405 yards from the Black tees. Three long par-5 holes ensures that power golfers will get their kicks, with the fifth hole coming in at 516 yards, the 1fourth measuring 541 and the 16th playing to 548. The round of golf concludes on a relatively shorter par 4 that measures 323 yards.
After a round of golf on the North Course at the Talking Stick Golf Club, head back to the Wildhorse Grille for drinks and a bite to eat.

Not lazy, no pulls carts available so it's cart path only.
Very big fairways. 16,465 steps.

Played a round in the morning at Desert Ridge and it was carts anywhere!
Someone from the crew needed to get out there and see that the course was not WET! Worst case 90 degree
Ruined the day!

Course was in excellent condition. Greens rolled true and in great condition. Fairways were plush with very little damage. Tee boxes were in better condition than expected, I had no trouble finding a level surface to tee off of. Overall a great course and well worth the money.
Piipash
Course was good, a little unremarkable though. Nothing super memorable about the layout. This was our first time playing in AZ, and we found the greens a little tricky but fun. Staff was friendly and accommodating, food was outstanding although we were told the restaurant was going to be run out of food trucks very soon. They are starting what appears to be a pretty big remodel project. We had a great time and no real complaints.
Great desert course
Great desert course which offers interesting views on the valley mountains. Although we played the other course this was the first time on the Piipaash and I would play it again. Fairways and greens were at their best. The staff was particularly helpful...and I would specially thank Rod.
Well worth it.
Course is in excellent condition. Greens are fast but true. Staff was friendly and helpful as a first time visitor. Overall, well worth a round and would definitely play there again.
Scottsdale - Talking Stick
The grass was green and in reasonable condition but course layout was not that interesting - grass and desert. The desert had scrub type bushes but little landscaping and other than the mountains in the background, we did not feel the course was that pretty or interesting. Restaurant also closed at 5pm so no opportunity to eat there after the round.
Lush and NO HOUSES!!!
Played the O’ODHAM course l loved it. Perfectly maintained with no houses. Wide plush fairways.
A Fun Golf Course
Course was in great shape, greens ran nicely. Pace of play was outstanding. Course is flat, easily walkable.
Wild horses beside the course was interesting.
Would play again and recommend to a friend.
Nice Course
Nice course with generous landing areas and a few holes where you have decisions to make off the the tee. Greens and fairways were in good condition, carrt path only the day I played but apparently they are a week from going back to scatter. I got a good deal so the value for me was quite good…paid just over 100.00.
Nice layout
Love this course. Wide fairways with no houses. Perfect condition.
