About
The Talking Stick Golf Club, designed by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, offers two uniquely different courses that each offer many options according to your playing skill. The Piipaash course (previously known as South at Talking Stick Golf Club), with its tree-lined fairways and raised greens defended at the sides offers a more straightforward style of play than the O'odham Course (formerly known as North at Talking Stick Golf Club).
A round of golf on the Piipaash Course at the Talking Stick Golf Club kicks off on a par-4 hole that measures 405 yards from the Black tees. Three long par-5 holes ensures that power golfers will get their kicks, with the fifth hole coming in at 516 yards, the 1fourth measuring 541 and the 16th playing to 548. The round of golf concludes on a relatively shorter par 4 that measures 323 yards.
After a round of golf on the North Course at the Talking Stick Golf Club, head back to the Wildhorse Grille for drinks and a bite to eat.

Experience
Fun course, enjoyed the layout, greens were hard and not holding approach shots. But course for this early part of summer were was in good shape
Played the north course. Fairways in good condition. Greens rolled OK. Traps were groomed. Unfortunately the driving range was closed. Overall a good course. Would play again.
Great mid handicap players course
Just enough challenge. Perfect greens. Fluffy sand in bunkers, which is hard to find here. Great staff and service. Course very well run. Organized and controlled especially with as busy as it was. 4 1/2 hour round due to foursome 2 groups ahead.
Tee Time System
The golf course was fine. However your scheduling system and payment was not good. I booked through your site. I have an account but it did recognize and I had to relight in. When I did it booked me for the wrong day. I had a bad experience with GolfNow to get a refund. I then rebooked for the right day and found out your rate was $20 more expensive then booking direct. I overpaid with your service. Not sure I will use you again
Pace of Play Disaster and Poor Custorner Service
The course itself is very good and not overly hard.
Unfortunately there are no on course rangers monitoring pace of play. The first 9 holes were fine. Beginning with hole #10, the pace went down the tubes as there was an EIGHTSOME that created a gap of nearly two holes. At the four hour 20 minute mark, my group was only able to play 14 holes and called it a day. Terrible when you have paid $100 plus inclusive of club rental fees.
I called the pro shop next day and they were sympathetic ( but offered nothing ) other than taking my name and number and telling me that Min who is the asst manager would call me.
Needless to say - no phone call back ! If you would be kind enough to call back, it would be appreciated ! Better yet, you should offer a credit !
How slow is to slow
Took almost exactly five hours to play the round. Way too slow.
A lot of straight holes and fairway roll out
This is a fun course if you hit it mostly straight, no rough to speak of just desert to both sides of every hole. Nothing more than a lot of straight tee shots, nice green complexes with some subtle and some not so subtle undulations. Great pace of play at just under 3.5 hours for 18. Nice practice area. Would recommend.
Good course.
Had fun, no pressure from group behind us, and kept up with group in front of us. Price is a bit high in my humble opinion.
Fun day
Great day fun group the fairways were in great shape and rolled well. The greens were tough not holding so club up and play the hard pan.
Over priced
Very disappointed. 4.5 hrs and not one beer cart, terrible course conditions Tees and greens were hideous. Staff was nice and professional. Won’t be back
Immaculate conditions & fast pace of play = Phenomenal round of golf!
Played the Od’Ham Course and it was in perfect condition, greens where amazing! Will definitely play again next time in Scottsdale!
