About
The Talking Stick Golf Club, designed by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, offers two uniquely different courses that each offer many options according to your playing skill. The Piipaash course (previously known as South at Talking Stick Golf Club), with its tree-lined fairways and raised greens defended at the sides offers a more straightforward style of play than the O'odham Course (formerly known as North at Talking Stick Golf Club).
A round of golf on the Piipaash Course at the Talking Stick Golf Club kicks off on a par-4 hole that measures 405 yards from the Black tees. Three long par-5 holes ensures that power golfers will get their kicks, with the fifth hole coming in at 516 yards, the 1fourth measuring 541 and the 16th playing to 548. The round of golf concludes on a relatively shorter par 4 that measures 323 yards.
After a round of golf on the North Course at the Talking Stick Golf Club, head back to the Wildhorse Grille for drinks and a bite to eat.

Talking Stick Review
Talking Stick is a fun course and no real surprises. I did get a cart with an almost flat tire and the staff ran another cart to us on the 3rd hole. Our group got behind due to the cart change and at the 4th hole I got the ranger telling us to get a move on due to the foursome behind us complaining. I told the ranger about the cart situation and not sure he cared. I did feel the course experience was somewhat let's see how many golfers we can get on and off in the fast time.. Even with the cart drama we finished in about 3.5 hours and no reason for the ranger to single out our group. I would recommend this course, but unsure I play it again. Maybe slow play can be related to overbooking. My wife and I played five courses this week and this was the only course placing players on top of each other.

It was great we spent a smith load of money we’re loved the coarse but it was hot getting about too hot to play anymore
Beautiful Course
Great course; fairways and greens in great shape; staff very friendly and accommodating; been golfing on this coiurse for years and have always enjoyed the experience.
Pace of play was only negative
Really enjoyed Pipaash course at Talking Stick. The gold/jade tee box combo is perfect for my game and thus found the fairways (which are in great shape) most of the time and the putts rolled true on the well manicured greens.
Range balls were pretty old, and they get beat hard in the AZ sun.
Staff was pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed breakfast in the restaurant before our round and a cold beer afterwards.
The only real negative was the round taking nearly 5 hours. I saw no evidence of a ranger trying to keep the pace of play moving and there were some bachelors party groups playing scramble which I think slowed everything thing down.
Will definitely play Talking Stick again , maybe the O’Odham course next.
Great Course
The course is in excellent shape yet somewhat challenging. Water on every other hole. Tee boxes are well taken care of. Fairways are forgiving. Bunkers had great sand. There are some challenging holes. Greens had a lot of slope and were quick. If you attacked the greens, the ball could run off. Food is great at the grille. No cart lady though. I’d highly recommend playing this course.
Glad We Played It!
Found a great hot deal on Golf Now and the course lived up to my expectations. Great shape, fair course in terms of difficulty, pace of play was great; staff was very friendly. Looking forward to playing it again!

Really enjoyed our round at Talking Stick. Played in just over 4 hours. Course was in great shape. Would definitely play here again.
