About
The Talking Stick Golf Club, designed by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, offers two uniquely different courses that each offer many options according to your playing skill. The Piipaash course (previously known as South at Talking Stick Golf Club), with its tree-lined fairways and raised greens defended at the sides offers a more straightforward style of play than the O'odham Course (formerly known as North at Talking Stick Golf Club).
A round of golf on the Piipaash Course at the Talking Stick Golf Club kicks off on a par-4 hole that measures 405 yards from the Black tees. Three long par-5 holes ensures that power golfers will get their kicks, with the fifth hole coming in at 516 yards, the 1fourth measuring 541 and the 16th playing to 548. The round of golf concludes on a relatively shorter par 4 that measures 323 yards.
After a round of golf on the North Course at the Talking Stick Golf Club, head back to the Wildhorse Grille for drinks and a bite to eat.

Not What I Expected
Since Talking Stick Resort is first class, I expected the golf course to follow the same. Unfortunately, I was "very" disappointed in the layout, several holes were not well taken care of as far as aesthetics, front nine was just ho-hum boring, so overall not worth the price. I will NOT be playing Talking Stick again.
Review response
I arranged a foursome all from Chicago. The course was impressive but the wait on tee boxes was most disturbing and distracting. This is the second time I experienced this at Talking Stick since October of 2020.
Course good, staff not so much!!!!
2:45 tee time. Lack of carts made me walk from clubhouse to driving range, then to check in desk, then back to club house for a cart. Had no sand in the containers, no tees, score card or pencil in cart. My first time here and won't go back. Lazy staff couldn't care less about my questions and seemed more occupied with there food. Played 18 and only had the food/bev cart come by once on the 4th. Course was great, other than they have no ball washers anywhere.
Course in bad shape.
Played it before and today I was stunned how feted out the course was, especially the greens. May as well of been hitting up on and putting out in the parking lot.
April Fun at the Stick
Course was in pristine shape. Greens fast. Pace great. Early AM time was beautiful.

The course conditions were very good from tee box to green. Very friendly staff. The snowbirds have left for parts unknown. We played in under 4 hours! Some great views of the distant mountains. It was a very enjoyable round.
Talking Stick Resort
The coarse is in good shape, but had patches of too much watering. The greens were fast and tough to negotiate. There was some minor delays at a few holes, but not unbearable. It was quite windy and mostly in your face.
A must course
The course is in great shape! Nice wide fairways although my ball found several of the many many bunkers!
Great staff and restaurant was exceptional.
Course was over watered. Standing water throughout the course. Greens were in good shape.
Great course, first hole-in-one
Great course. Tee boxes, fairways & greens were in great shape. The greens were hard so it was difficult to get the ball to stop on approach shots.
And I got my first hole-in-one on #16!!!
The only negative about today was the pace of play. It wasn’t terrible but was a little slow. Had to wait on most holes.
Would love to play again.
