About
Hillcrest Golf Club possesses a championship length course that offers a great variety of game options with five sets of tees. The course has a traditional design that features open fairways lined with trees, which put a premium on straight shots. The greens vary greatly with some that are relatively flat and medium sized and others that are quite large and dramatically sloped or multi-tiered. In addition to several sand bunkers, water hazards in the forms of lakes and ponds come into play. The signature hole is the par-5 13th, which has been touted by the Phoenix Gazette as being on of the best holes in the state. Hillcrest Golf Club not only has a dogleg around a lake, the hole requires an approach shot uphill to a green that is guarded by eight bunkers.

Hillcrest rocks
Nice course with an awesome layout! It's in pretty good shape and it has enough configuration to challenge a golfer like me.
I recommend this course!

Wanted to try the course . Was a bit far from home, but overall good experience
This course was great at one time.
This course was great at one time.
They have really let it run down. Cart paths are horrible. Ball washers have old nasty water. Some ball washers are broken. Drinking water jugs are broken. The fairways and greens were decent. The tee boxes were inconsistent, some haven't been cut in days. The sand traps were horrible. They were either soaked or hard packed. Not sure if we will return, sad.
They need a marshal no fivesomes and a marshal that says something way overpriced
Good conditioned fairways and greens.
Very windy when we played. Fairways and greens in good shape, shaggy and dusty off. Water comes into play on a number of holes.

A bit rough around the edges, but a fun course to play. Fairways and greens good. Traps and rough need help. Will play again.
Huge Greens!!
Nice, wide fairways and huge greens that were in great shape. Made the turn just after 4 and everything was closed:(
Very poor conditions
Took out of town guests and we were all very disappointed in the course conditions. Fairway was good greens so so but the rough , which was mostly dirt, was unplayable. The fairway traps were half scruffy grass and very little sand. Driving the cart path was like driving through a mine field. I will not go back and would never recommend this course.

Fairway bunkers are over ran with weeds and the traps around the greens need sand
Good course for the price I paid
Enjoyed the round. Pace was a little slow but OK. Course was in decent shape but many sand traps were hard packed so they need some work. Will play again if I can find the Hot Deal again.
