About
Hillcrest Golf Club possesses a championship length course that offers a great variety of game options with five sets of tees. The course has a traditional design that features open fairways lined with trees, which put a premium on straight shots. The greens vary greatly with some that are relatively flat and medium sized and others that are quite large and dramatically sloped or multi-tiered. In addition to several sand bunkers, water hazards in the forms of lakes and ponds come into play. The signature hole is the par-5 13th, which has been touted by the Phoenix Gazette as being on of the best holes in the state. Hillcrest Golf Club not only has a dogleg around a lake, the hole requires an approach shot uphill to a green that is guarded by eight bunkers.

Stolen Lawnmower
I’m not sure if they had there lawn mower stolen, the course layout is great, the staff are amazing but the fairways feel like playing out of the rough and the tee boxes feel like playing of the back of a yeti.
It’s a shame, the staff and layout is great but the course maintenance isn’t, this course was once one the best around, but needs some care and attention.

Course was in very good shape, all the rain we have had has helped. Rates are good given the time of year. Most all courses overcharge in March due to all the extra activity in the Valley. Always nice people on the staff and the course.
Some challenging par 5’s, mostly dog leg left around water, 16,17, & 18 are challenging.on the way back in. Not a lot of cover so if it’s windy it will be a looonnnngggg round.
Fun course
Fairways and greens in great shape. Play a bit slow. Bathrooms need some work.
Very enjoyable
Second time here and I really like this place. It’s not a 5 star golf course but I like these type of courses. Greens in very very good shape. Rough is not in good shape but fairways are good. Long enough to challenge you but can score if you play well. I’d play here everyday
Average course no cart girl
Typical sun city course. Thankfully all ages allowed. The fairways are up against each other the whole way. Lots of doglegs- check google maps you can see it’s kind of a circle. Fairways were nice and no cart rules. But no cart girl was tough. Grab drinks & food before 4pm!
Nice inexpensive course!
Super friendly staff, first few holes a little rough, but overall a nice inexpensive course in a realm of pricey golf!

Fun Course! Needs little more tlc, but for the money great layout!! Best Sin City course hands down.
