About
Located in the west valley, the golf course at Coyote Lakes Golf Club combines a desert landscape and traditional design with scenic views of the White Tank and Bradshaw Mountains. Although it is modest in length and suitable for all players, the course is still an enjoyable challenge for even advanced golfers. The front nine is more difficult than the back nine with large greens and several contours. The back nine is also challenging though with several notable holes. The fairways are undulating on both and water hazards come into play on several holes. Coyote Lakes Golf Club's signature hole is the 14th, a par-3 hole that requires a shot from an elevated tee to a green that is well protected by two sand bunkers and a lake to the left.

Extreme slow play
Play was extremely slow. 9:15 tee time waiting on 10 for 30 minutes at 12:15 . Had to leave at 12:30 because of appt at 2:45. . No way to finish and make appointment 15 miles away..
Coyote Lakes Review
The overall course conditions were good for the price. Only complaint is the greens were extremely slow and bumpy. Ball did not roll true. Fairways were in nice shape. Greens need to be mowed and rolled.
Great features
Good combination of holes from drivable 4s to three shot 5s. Greens are semi fast and grainy
Good value. Great service
We were met at the bag drop by an assistant who took our clubs and loaded them in our cart. Course is in very good shape, greens virtually perfect and a good speed. I’m a high handicap senior joined by my wife. Played the blacks (senior tees) and a good drive always created an opportunity to get on in regulation. Fairway bunkers and hazards require a well placed tee shot. Great value for Phoenix area desert golf
Rude Marshall
We teed off at 8:15 am made the turn @ 11 am. And was rudely met by a unprofessional unpleasant Marshal, he didn’t say hello or good morning, but tried to tell us we were behind?

Not fall behind. We shall not return and I would suggest if for customer service and a pleasant experience, you play a different course.
Pleasant surprise
This was one of the nicer courses I played while in Arizona for 2 months.

Added a twosome
Play was a bit slow even though we finished the front 9 in 2 hours and 8 minutes. We waited at most holes to tee off. The problem came when we went to 10. The pro shop had sent a twosome to 10 and the were on the tee box when we got there. The marshal was on his phone sitting in his cart nearby. When I asked what was going on, his response was, "I don't know." I pointed out to him that as marshal, he should know. He had us wait and let the twosome tee off ahead of us. Not acceptable and certainly handled very poorly.
