Great Eagle Golf Club

It will take time to get the path to the holes down but once concurred it will be a lot better.

Course was in fair condition staff responsiveness was poor.

Golf cart started to die at sixth tee box. Called clubhouse while on tee waiting to hit pro shop said they would send out another cart. No cart came used 2 cart in our foursum to push it until the turn. Cart barn person was never informed of our issue. We also told the ranger on hole 8 didn't do any good. Had other issues with staff in past wont play here again

Staff friendliness was ok. I went out as a single. They attempted to get me out ahead of the foursome groups ahead as well as the starter.

Tee boxes had not been moved. The tee boxes were beat up and are uneven. Hard to find a level spot anywhere on the box. The fairways and greens were a very pretty green if there was grass there. Most of the mounds were missing grass as well as some spots in the fairways.

Speaking of greens...Do you like practicing your putting in the office or living room carpet. Me too! But I don’t like paying $50 for putting on carpet. They don’t roll the greens at all. Use a croquet or a 3 wood to putt so you don’t leave them short.

Not well maintained and the cart paths are poor and dusty. Disappointing and not competitive in the marketplace.

Course was in the best shape I have ever seen it. All 18 play exactly how the card says. Cart path only, had no problem with it due to how much work the staff has put into the course. Great Eagle bar and grill after the round for some football was nice. I think it is worth it to check it out again If you played it this past summer

$20 special! Layout is quite fun. Challenging enough. Lots of hills and bumps along the way.

Front 9 fairways not that great. Overseed just starting to take and very little Bermuda on them.

Back 9 is quite good. Pretty. Challenging.

Impossible to beat for the price. Just be ready for a little slop on the front 9.

There were no tee markers except for two holes. The course was dry and hard, the greens were in bad shape. I believe that if someone who cared about golf took over the management it could be very good. This course is in competition with Traditions up the road a few blocks. I don't care that much for Traditions but it sure has Great Eagle beat. Fix up and I might try it again. Oh and nothing was open. Had to pay greens fees through a window. Give me a break!

They gave no indication that the course was in such terrible condition and that they were only playing the back-nine. Additionally, they continued to pile up groups playing the back-nine so that when we made the turn there were 5 additional groups waiting to tee off between us and the group that had been ahead of us. We walked off after nine holes despite paying for eighteen. Ridiculous and unacceptable way of managing a golf course.

The worst course condition I’ve ever seen. Paid $40 to play holes 10-18 twice. If they would advertise this on golf now it wouldn’t have been a problem, although, they didn’t. Please don’t waste you’re money here. Learn from my mistake.

Nice little track. Only back 9 open. For the price it’s nice. Gotta cut the greens better. Very hairy
