Arizona Traditions Golf Club

Not worth more than the $75 we paid. Fellow golfers very friendly as well as staff.

I was shocked by how quirky and tricked up this design was for a 55+ community. It appears that most of the course was built up and out of the wash/flood areas so almost all the fairways and greens have severe slopes all around them. These low areas are all very short and icky dormant Bermuda summer grass. The course is short overall but if you miss a fairway or green by an inch, you end up in awful and penal lies. I ended up putting from 40-50 feet off of greens because the grass was missing or terrible. Plus many of the greens had huge contours to them so if you miss your spot by a foot, the ball could roll 50-60' away and down a hill. I ended up shooting an 82 with a couple of messy holes so I shot an OK score. I was just expecting an easier day :)

Staff, conditions and price were good. My only complaint was the pace of pay which resulted in us getting only 14 holes in when we should have completed 18. There was an EXTREMELY slow group ahead of us that did not even attempt to speed up. The range should provide coaching to slow parties on how to speed things up, and if they don't respond to coaching they should be told to skip holes

We like this course because it’s close to our house and usually inexpensive (as should be) not perfect but for the price worth it and always have a good time.

No tournaments today so everything was smooth! Kelly, Pam, and Carl are the BEST employees at Traditions, all friendly and welcoming.

Decent track, way over priced, fairways were just so so for this time of year. Staff were all Great, I'd pay little more and go somewhere else, other courses more lush, not hitting off dirt and hard ground.

Booked as a single for the 1:00 shotgun/ pace started slow but finished in just over 4 hours/ great pairing with 3 Canadian women/ most fairways and greens just OK/ great layout/ will play it again

Incredible value for the course. Conditions were pretty good some of the greens had some imperfections that effected play but it was minimal. I had a great time overall and enjoyed the course. The $1 burger was awesome too.

I have to recant the last review I left. I left it while upset at something that happened that was truly an accident by a very busy employee of the golf course. I had stated that I was not treated fairly, and the customer service wasn't good. After I called again today to discuss my issue, I received a call back from a very nice lady that explained things to me. My husband and I have golfed Traditions previously and do like the course. Moral of the story is don't review something or someone when upset over something and seek to understand the issues first. I would go back to Traditions if I am able to.
