Arizona Traditions Golf Club

The course was well maintained for last Aug. the staff was friendly. We paired up with the two fellows just ahead of us on the tee. We thought it would be advantageous to maintain the pace with the elderly 4 some ahead of us. The only disappointment was the greens were bumpy rough. A good rolling to even the surface out would be good also one cart was losing power. I suggested the guy with that cart call the pro shop to see if they would run another cart out to avoid them having to tow it in later. That suggestion went over like a flat tire with the pro shop.

Meal deal option in golf now for this course was great! Had a bratwurst, chips and a drink at the turn for only 5 more bucks! Awesome selection of beers in the clubhouse to take on the course. They even give you a provided cooler. Was $20 for 6 Miller lights. Not bad for a golf course at all.

Course was in great condition. Hats off to the maintenance team!

The Ownership schedules tee times every 8 Minutes and it gets backed up. Sunday was not busy and we still waited on every teebox. It was awful. I would suggest every 10 minutes or make the ranger move up the slow groups.

Unusual circumstances of aerating the back nine greens allowed for only the front nine to be open. This meant that the first hole was the starting place for new golfers coming on to the course as well as being hole 10 for those taking the turn. That is, if 18 holes was being played, the golfers had to play the first 9 twice. This caused a logjam throughout the front nine. I started as a single golfer at 1:12 PM on Thursday. Which in August normally means that I would have the course more-or-less to myself. I was keeping up with the twosome ahead of me, but the foursome behind me seemed to think I was too slow and yelled at me from the tee box. It was miserable. After two holes I thought that it wasn't worth it and left the course. However, the front desk gave me a voucher to play another day. I am very appreciative of their effort with the voucher. When I use the voucher I will be sure to call and ensure that the entire course is open.

This course has a very good layout with easy to manage fairways and greens. If you’re a golfer who likes to golf a lot but can’t afford TPC or some of the more expensive courses… Give Arizona traditions a try. For less than 100 bucks I can play with my two teenage sons, hit a few buckets of balls, and have a great day of it. There are some dry spots in the fairways and some of the greens are pretty soft and slow, but these are in the spots where everybody lands their tee shots. They’re not on every hole, but if you choose to go long or club down one, you can avoid some of the dry spots with ease. The staff is friendly and there are quite a few locals who are members and they all look out for the course. This last weekend, two groups joined up and started holding everybody up and it was the members who stepped in to break up the group to increase the pace of play. Once they got the message, the pace of play was fine. This course is a great value for intermediate golfers who like to play every week. The carts are a little old, but it beats walking in the heat and they worked well. They didn’t bother me or ask about our small cooler - and each hole that had a water cooler had very cold, clean water in it if you forget your own. I’d recommend this to course!

Great Time. Course in good condition, especially the Fairways. Always a good course

Many greens and several key fairway areas in bad shape. Don’t see signs of willingness to maintain it.

Arizona Traditions is a great course & was in good condition for this time of year. The layout is great & not over challenging. I will definitely be coming back.

The new counter girl did not know how to ring up discounts, so she just discounted my inquires, and said she didn't know "It is my first day!" Did nothing to attempt to assist me further, but show me signs about the ladies shoes discounted...2nd time I have attempted to purchase goods at this golf shop with the same results. Went online to the PGA store to make my purchases instead.

Well maintained, interesting layout, reasonably priced

There were multiple areas of no or thin turf in fairway. Also have weeds in fairway. Would expect better conditions for the money.

Course is normally in good conditions for summer time and the amount of people that play the course. The staff is the best around. Really appreciate the water around the course to keep golfers hydrated. Favorite course around so far
