Water was a hard thing to come by no beverage cart great staff in the clubhouse hire some help!

Had a fun time playing AT yesterday. The greens are in pretty rough shape (though I am struggling to find courses at this price point with greens that roll true right now). The bunkers are atrocious--a thin layer of sand over concrete. But there is a lot of nice grass on and around the fairways, the layout was fun, and the clubhouse and practice area are very inviting. I would also just say, that, as a guy working to lower my handicap, I had to play from the tips (usually I play from white) and then still add two strokes to my score for the adjusted handicap score. The course is short, of course, but not as easy as all that for a 20 handicap.

Range great. Course great. The fairways great. The greens didn't look to go. But Great place to play. And the cart guys were super cool and friendly and helpful. I took my son for the first time here, he loved it. I will be back!

Great variety on the layout. The greens, fairways and tee boxes in good condition. I was paired up 3 guys who were very nice and helpful on the course layout. We played in 3 hours with a 6:12 tee time.

Where to start, pace of play or the course Marshall. Group in front of us playing 2-3 balls (each) from the tees. And my group was at the tees also waiting for them to go! Wouldn’t let us play through and one hole, the Marshall is picking rocks next to the tee box as this group is teeing up 2-3 times each. We sat there and watched and shook our heads. Took a video cause it was unbelievable. Marshall finally gets in his cart and drives by us and says, have a good round… the group behind us is also on the tees waiting for this group. So 2 different groups waiting for them to tee off and go. So we joined the group behind us and the 7 of us still had to wait on the tee boxes for the group in front to go. Course was in decent shape but greens are terrible and ball jumps All over the place. Wouldn’t pay $10 to play there again.

Course was in excellent condition considering it's the middle of summer.

Fun course I've been playing here for many years. I never saw the beer cart, that was disappointing! Carl the starter is a great guy, the greens were a little dry, fairways too for that matter! But heck, its only 20 bucks to play 18

I hadn't played here in a while and used to play here all the time... my wife and I decided to try again.

We are NOT slow players and frankly both play pretty well... me low 80s and her high 80s or better. They just send singles and twosome out at random, there are people driving up on you and trying to pass constantly trying to get in a two hour round.

By the third hole (par 3) we pulled over to let a twosome go through after teeing off, the twosome said sorry the group behind us are pushing us, meanwhile the ranger who's driving around picking up balls picks up my ball to the left of the green while he sees us all there after teeing off and after I yelled "dint pick up that Bridgestone"... too late.

He comes over to us to apologize and hand me my golf ball, now the next twosome is coming through and they said "we didn't want to wait on 10 so we came around the front again" this is the twosome pushing... do you think the ranger would say something... nope, too busy thinking about golf ball hunting.

We played on to witness young party groups driving up on greens and all over the place, we were on 8 and the sixsome (yep 6) on the 6th hole with their stereo blasting and all out there yelling and singing held up groups behind them... it was a joke and we left after 9 holes.

Years ago I never thought AZ traditions would turn into this kind of course but it has, I guess when Villa Depaz and Falcon golf course closes this is where they go.

Now two weeks later mid July at 115 degrees they raised their rates to $35 after 11::00... brilliant, at that price I will go to a better quality course.

The staff always is the most impressive part of this course. So personable and feels like they’re working their dream jobs. The course was great, you could tell it’s obviously not their ‘prime time’ season but definitely one of the better kept courses over the summer, especially in Surprise. If you’re deciding between a couple courses and this one, play this one.
