Poorest municipal course ever played.
Tee boxes were shaggy, greens were in very poor condition. Golf carts are old, not clean and beat up.
Nice municipal course
Enjoyed this course. We teed off at 7:30 am and sailed around the course. Greens were in good shape. Fairways were wide enough. Very simple holes with nothing tough. Would definitely come back at the early hours. Management was very nice.
City Course
Not bad for a city course. Quite flat. Easy walk. Not too many places to lose balls. Lots of green side bunkers that can be tough to get out of early in the day when the sand is wet.
average course with no security
This course is average at best as the greens and sand traps are in poor condition. The layout is not too bad, but the overall condition of the course detracts from the play. there is no security in the parking lot and our vehicle was broken into in broad daylight. We lost credit cards, cash, and personal items. The police indicated there were numerous break ins in the vicinity. This is a city owned course and for the rates they charge for non residents, they put no money back into security. Warn potential players of the dangers
Randolph South Dell Urich
Can't walk it cause my feet, but rode, course was really good.
Public Golf Course
It is an OK Golf course. Part of it is in very good conditions, some of the greens were in bad shape. The facilities are in need of an update.
Plays Long
My wife and I played very early in the morning, a habit we adopted for munis in Tucson in order to keep the play time under 5 hours. The fairways and greens were in great shape for January. The course demands many long quality shots onto very tricky greens. From the tee it is easy to see what the course designer wanted done, the problem was in doing it successfully. A minor error would result in a difficult shot out of a very deep bunker.
Great Afternoon!
The course was a bit soggy from watering but overall an enjoyable round of golf. I can't wait to come back!
Good greens - fairways ; lots of MUD in low spots; slick grass in mornings
It's always a fun track for me - play as often as I can - this is a close course and the people I've met their when playing single make it an interesting round. Great 22 oz beer, nice frozen mug at the end - greens are fast now - there are a number of MUD slicks around the course... and it ain't rained in months... this course has grown in as good as I've seen it in years on years - excellent weather has made the course quite nice. Playing from the BLUE makes this a long course.
Good fun!
Had a good time golfing, beautiful day in Tucson, AZ!
Fair deal
Front nine played in under 2 hrs back nine we were be hind a group of Sn men they must have been playing for over 5 cents
Took for ever to putt out nearly 3 hr for 9 fair condition just at the end of the over seeding process Enjoyed it over all.
course ok
Nothing to rave about. Cart path only not posted on Golf Now which was reason for poor turn out. Don't bother with snack bar & grill as they are unable to cook a basic hamburger properly. Trying to serve a half pound burger on a normal size bun uncooked is not normal.
Reasonable course for the price. Convenient.
Nice old course. I rode (because cart comes along with GOLFNOW deal. Would definitely walk it next time, as green to tee distance is very short and the course is basically flat. I will no doubt play Randolf North course again.
this course had good features but they were removed.
I like playing the course but i miss the water on the nineth and eighteenth hole's.
good lay out for birdies
Randolph is a track for every player.
It has a traditional design good for walking
or riding you can tee it forward or play the tips
and let it rip.
Had just been re-seeded, in great shape for a municipal course.
Randolph North is in great shape for this time of year. The course was just re-seeded and the fairways / greens were maintained very well. For a city course it was definitely good for the money.
