North at Randolph Golf Course

Randolph North is in great shape for this time of year. The course was just re-seeded and the fairways / greens were maintained very well. For a city course it was definitely good for the money.

Very slow play on a Sunday morning. We were almost a half hour late getting off on the first hole. The grass on the first rough was very high for a public course - you had to be right on top of the ball to see it. This is one of the reasons for the slow play, golfers could not find their ball even if they were only a short distance fron the fair way. Never did see a ranger.

Good course for the money a little slow to play at times

Was backed up and very slow. We started after 2:15 or so. tee time 2:13 and we didn't get to finish.

This course is always fun. No patchy fairways and most important the greens were in good shape.

Course was in poor condition, especially the tee boxes.
Pace of play was very slow and course was very crowded with slow players.
No marshals on course to speed things up.
Bathroom facilities were horrible and dirty.
Golf carts were in poor shape and the one I had wouldn't stop running.
Dangerous to play. Balls were coming every which way from adjoining holes.

they are trying to promote fast play but the rough was so thick it took 5 to 10 minutes to find ball even if you were 3 feet off the fairway.restrooms are terrible ,hardly any drinking water on course.these are the reasons i dont play city courses often there are so many more courses to choose from that are in better shape and less costly

Greens were sanded. Fairways had the right amount of grass under ball..enjoyed challenge of longer holes...3rd time playing course over 3 years...

course was in very good shape, will play there again

course was challenging for a novice like me. friendly personnel. price was right.

Slow to get started but pace picked up once through 1st few holes.

The course was too wet, the fairways were the length of rough, and the rough was way too long. Miss the fairway by a foot took 5 minutes to find the ball

So much so, the rough was long enough for me lose a ball or two.

Fair Price and quick ( 1 1/2 hrs) pace but that was because it was 5pm when we started. Overall course in decent shape but the greens were unplayable ( I realize we are getting close to overseed) but when you hit the green you shouldn't feel like you are putting on the fairway. These can be mowed, there is no excuse for that, needless to say 2-putting was an adventure. The staff was below average in greeting and didn't seem to care to be there. Overall a poor experience.

Course was improved since last visit. A good improvement is the EL Con grill now offers more selections and reasonable prices. It is nice to be able to have lunch right after a round of golf in a pleasant environment. The staff at the grill was especially nice.

Played al lyou can play almost got in 36 holes. Well worth the money. It is a city course so dont expect country club level maintainance. Other than that greens play fast and hard but if you play in the moring they are better.

Always a favorite with tons of beautiful trees...the course was in excellent shape, especially for the rainy season which can wreak havoc on golf courses. Rough was high (as it should be!) and the greens were mown nicely, but still on the slow side. Overall conditions were very nice though and the price was right!. Go. Play!

Busy municipal course, gets a lot of play, requires additional maintenance. Flat, straight forward course, but fair test of golf. Greens roll true, but rough and slow.

I played on Saturday morning. Fairways were alright. Rough was too deep we lost golf balls right off the fairway. There were a few could holes that needed sand in the sandtraps. I have noticed this on all city courses. I guess I don't understand this and it one of the biggest complaints I hear. The greens could have been cut also they where pretty slow. Tee boxes could use some maintenance spotty with grass. I played the course right next to it last week and it was great shape. They are supposedly shutting down this course for maintenance next week A lot of standing water where sprinklers where broke.

Has tree branches on course, Cups well worn, need to be moved on most greens. Seat cushion worn and uncomfortable on cart. Restaurant reasonable and good.
