Los Caballeros Golf Club
About
Rancho de Los Caballeros offers everything from horseback rides through the desert to hot stone massages at the spa. This historic dude ranch is also known as one of the state's most popular golfing destinations. Golf Digest ranked the Rancho de Los Caballeros golf course in the top five in Arizona and nationally, it's ranked in the top 100. The layout sprawls across rolling terrain and incorporates two large lakes into the design. The course climbs up 2,100 feet at its highest point providing stunning views of Vulture Peak to the south and the Bradshaw Mountains to the north. The par-4 13th is the signature hole. It features several changes in elevation and a small, undulating green that is also heavily guarded by bunkers. In addition to the course, the golf club at Rancho de Los Caballeros also has multiple driving ranges, practice putting greens, and there's also a short-game practice area.

Always love Los Cab!
As always great round super service lovely place. Sure wish the golf course restaurant was open for dinner closes at 5. Not a lot of dinner options at dinner hour in Wickenburg.
Great lunch there thou, with free cookies !
Great track and in wonderful shape...greens were perfect...great round!!!!
Try it your like it
This is becoming my one of my favorite course's in Wickenberg. The course was in great shape and played in a little over 4 hrs. Had lunch at the grill. Just a great day with the guys. Looking forward to doing this again..
No ranger
Have played this course many times and really enjoy it. Great layout and almost always in terrific shape. Worth the 1 hour drive from Phoenix. This last time we played really soured us though. We had an extremely slow foursome in front of us that made play a 5 hour round. We almost had to quit early because we had one of us that needed to get back for a dinner party. A ranger would have been very helpful. It will be a while before we come back.
Gotta do this again
This time of year we Arizonans can find a lot of nice golf courses. Rancho De Caballeros is something special. This course has it all. Great fairways, challenging roughs, traps that work you hard, greens that make you think, and beautiful scenery surrounding the course. If you can't hit your drives straight, there will be problems. So, bring extra balls. This course also has one of the nicest practice areas I've seen. Practice greens for putting, others for chipping, traps for practice, and free range balls. The range balls are Calloways which allows you to learn from your practice swings - - not beater balls seen at other courses. The course maintenance folks deserve some sort of award for what they do.... truly beautiful. I shot a louse score, but had a wonderful time, and definitely will be back.
Interesting lay out
Felt like a well run understated private club. We were treated well. Played in well under four hours but never felt rushed. The course was in excelent condition. Interesting lay out with some elevation changes and plenty of shape. Generous off the tee with challenging approach shots. Plenty of length. We will be back if the occation allows.
Great Day
Practice facilities, pro shop, club house, tee boxes, fairways and greens were excellent. Challenging course with some narrow fairways. Excellent.
Worth playing if you are in the area
Excellent course conditions for the time of this time of year. Friendly staff and course was in great condition. The layout is pretty good, I will say the fairways are narrow. Don’t try to overpower this course. Be very picky on what shots to go for the long ball.
Worth the drive
Fastest greens we have played so far this reseeding season. My only complaint would be that the fairways are being watered so heavily you get zero rollout on your drives, making several of the par fours play a lot longer. Having said that we will definitely go back in a week or two and have another go at this track. A bit of advise for those driving out from Phoenix, the highway is heavily patrolled by state troopers looking for speeders.
Gorgeous scenery, course is in excellent condition. We play this course every year because we love it but this year it was an outstanding experience.
Excelle".nt Condition After Over-seeding
The tees, fairways and greens were all in excellent shape for this time of the year. Carts were allowed on the fairway as well. Greens smooth and fast. Great course to play and nice and scenic too. You gotta love the rule that says "Horses have the right of way. Please stay 15 yards away
Pleasant surprise
First time we played this course. We played from the Copper Tees. We found some of the longer par 4 's challenging to reach in 2 but that is the fun of it. Might play from the longer tees next time.,Just to see what happens.
Los Caballeros
This course is beautiful. Excellent condition. Challenging. Great course all around. Staff friendly and helpful. Would recommend this for all level of players.
well kept, challenging course
for a rusty player, this course was a challenge. Fairly long for a 200 yard hitter. Great fairways and greens. Good speed and consistency on greens. Nice practice area and a quick pace of play
Always fun to play here
Worth the drive from Phoenix, I always play this course when visiting Az.
Great views hand staff
I always enjoy playing here, not a hard piece of ground on the fairway or green.
Always excellent conditions.
The grill has very good food if a bit on the pricey side.
The rates are very reasonable in the summer, and I will continue to play here and recommend to others.
Excellent Experience
This was my first time playing here and I have nothing at all to complain about! It's an hour away but well worth it. The course was in great shape, pace was right on 4 hours and the staff was super friendly! We came back the next weekend and will make the trip again in the near future!
