About
Rancho de Los Caballeros offers everything from horseback rides through the desert to hot stone massages at the spa. This historic dude ranch is also known as one of the state's most popular golfing destinations. Golf Digest ranked the Rancho de Los Caballeros golf course in the top five in Arizona and nationally, it's ranked in the top 100. The layout sprawls across rolling terrain and incorporates two large lakes into the design. The course climbs up 2,100 feet at its highest point providing stunning views of Vulture Peak to the south and the Bradshaw Mountains to the north. The par-4 13th is the signature hole. It features several changes in elevation and a small, undulating green that is also heavily guarded by bunkers. In addition to the course, the golf club at Rancho de Los Caballeros also has multiple driving ranges, practice putting greens, and there's also a short-game practice area.

Great course! Amazing value.
Great course! Every hole is unique. Amazing views. Super friendly staff. The greens held shots and putted fast and rolled great. The best value in the area by far. Well worth the drive from Phoenix.

Great day
The perfect day on the course. I was fortunate enough to get paired with a member who provided helpful hints to playing the course. The fairways were tight, but forgiving in some cases. The greens were fast, but soft so you could go for the pin. I will play it again.

Cold and windy did not prevent a good time and great round
I arrived a little tardy but was escorted to the tee box with a nod to take a little time to putt on the practice green first. Everyone was smiles and happy to assist, not often seen when late for the tee time. I was paired up with a guy my skill and another young fellow who played from the tips and was skilled enough to do so, also a rarity. So, my partners are great and the course is beautiful. A few incredible houses nearby, but you really have to suck to hit them. The cold wind took some of the shine off the day but still had a wonderful day trying to compete with a very difficult course, what a challenge. I did ok but the course won more often than I did, still, I left feeling great and wanting to return soon and take it on once more.

Beautiful arra
Very scenic golf course fairways need water, greens watered to much very soft, however the greens did roll true. Got something to eat after beautiful view from the restraunt in a old southwest setting.

I thought the front 9 was more beat up then the back 9. I also thought the back 9 was more difficult and more beautiful. But overall I enjoyed the course. I will be back again to play

Slow pace of play and course is in terrible shape
Very disappointed with the pace of play today. Had a foursome then a bunch of twosomes in front of us which may pace very slow. Waiting on every hole to tee off and hit remaining shots.
Course was in the worse shape I had ever seen it. T boxes were beat up fairways were bare and greens were really rough. Not worth the money to play unless they clean up the course.

Beautiful views, long course
Staff was very friendly and professional. Driving range and putting green were great! Views are incredible! Some tough holes but very playable. Will definitely be coming back.

Nice layout
Always enjoy playing this course. Greens were quick and in great condition.. Only problem we had was with the bathroom on the back 9. The toilet flusher chain and flapper were broken in the mens toilet and the cart did not have a key for the womens. Beer was $5 a can which is excessive for a 12oz can of beer. Will not be purchasing beverages next time we play. There were two bottles of water on ice in the cart since there was not drinking water on the course. We brought our own water mugs with ice.
