Laguna Seca Golf Club

The layout at Laguna Seca is fantastic with an excellent variety of holes. Track is set on a hills side so almost every hole has some sort of elevation change.

Fairways were in good condition with ample coverage throughout. We played late afternoon and the greens were pretty bumpy. Hopefully they are a little better in the morning. Prices are a bit steep for the current conditions but not too ridiculous. Sand traps have good amount of fluffy sand.

Rolled into town and got out before sundown got us. Great time and make sure you have a sweater in your bag. Had a great time. #15 is a challenge. Enjoy it!

Course is in the best shape I’ve seen it in years. Good coverage on the fairways. Greens didn’t look all that great but they actually rolled smooth. Greens were firm

The playing conditions were very good. The greens were a little shaggy though. The worst part was the pace of play. No marshal to help move things along. Ended up having to quit after 13 holes because of slow play. Really not a place I would go back to unless they can address the pace of play issue. And the cherry on top... Passed up by the cart person 4 different times.

Course in fairly good shape but the greens are very bumpy, seems like they have an issue with the turf.

Really pretty course. Play through the canyon near monterey. Challenging up and down the hills. Really fun simple holes and really challenging holes.

Definitely would have needed a revision of turf type for the greens here.Notorious to say the least.no consistency and very bumpy

It not as nearly as nice as it looks from the highway!! Been wanted to play this course for over 30 years !! Finally did and was very disappointed!!

Traps were not raked the greens have not been mowed or the fairways!! Very disappointed!! Had hi hopes but was shot down!!

I do not recommend this course to anyone at a 100.00 a round!!

Please remove all rocks in bunkers, not the pebbles, I mean the rocks, lots of rocks. I have never seen rocks in bunkers before, but this is truly a "hazzard" along with the dirt, not sand.

One of the better public layouts on the peninsula, just wish the owners are aware of what they have, an awesome golf course in the worst condition possible.

First I love Peter Dye courses. they are a thinkers course. You can go for a lo or play it safe. With that said the management has totally let this course go. Tee boxes rough and uncut. the sand traps are hard pan, and no sand to speak of, the greens have not been rolled in years. never play it again.
