Decreased quality all around
Pains me to say it but choose another course. The quality of the greens was the only redeeming factor. Tee boxes and range were terrible and looked to have no attention given for a week or more. Good lies in the fairways, nope. Your chiropractor would love the cart paths for the referrals. Pace of play: plan on 5 hours. Bottom line; a good layout is being poorly maintained and managed.
Decent track but overpriced
Good layout, decent greens and bunkers, fairways need help, overpriced for the conditions, lots of good golf in the area for cheaper
Greens were in great shape; nobody fixes their ballmarks; tee boxes a mess with discarded and broken tees everywhere. Fairways so so.
Tee time available before driving range is open
The course here is nice, staff isn't really friendly at all. Just seems like they want you to pay and play and not worry too much about what happens out on the course.
Pretty weird to have tee times available prior to the driving range being open, so there's no opportunity to warmup before you go if you book the earliest tee time.
The scenery is worth the price of admission
We’ve played there many times, it’s still in the winter growth, excellent layout, greens a little bumpy , no better place to play for the money.
Course is Improved
Over last year and year before, course conditions are much better. Fairways are good, greens are very good. Rough is full of bare spots and holes. Carts are badly in need of a thorough cleaning.Playing time was 4 1/2 hours, but we were behind what looked like a women's tournament of some sort. They were grinding over every 2-footer.
Laguna Sicka
Course in poor condition, greens decent. Needs some TLC. Use the money upgrading the pro shop for the course.
Good but not brilliant
Greens and practice ground and 14 holes good. 4 holes need a good amount of revision
Interesting picturesque strong walk
I walk the course and it’s a good strong walk with a push cart. Elevated tees, dog leg holes, sloping greens, great layout including views. Pretty much got it all. Too bad the players don’t take better care of a public play course. It would be nice to have a divot repair sand box at the tees and the old school box for broken tees.
