Golfer Reviews
Review Laguna Seca
Fun day, 1st day out since cover started. The staff was very friendly and all covid restrictions were in effect. The course was a little dry, but not too dry.
Saturday Golf
Great Course, only thing took 5-1/2 hours for a twosome, way to long, too many people playing off tee boxes that they should not, had 3 foursomes backed up on the 10th. Still was fun but too long waiting between holes.
PROMISING!!
I promise that any player would love the course! Really nicely design and fun lay out. Change of elevation is a key to a good judgement of club choice!! At times The way of wind wraps around the course makes Better and more challenging shots. Over all a great experience for any level player.i
A little golf on a wonderful day
My wife and I played on Saturday May 16th, it was really great to get out and kind of get back to normal, course was in really good shape and the pace of play was very good.
Course closed due to "shelter-in-place"
Shelter in place came into effect 12:01, so the course was closed and unable to play.. I was advised by email in advance.
Tried to get golfnow fees reimbursed. Waiting for response.
Greens
This course is nice and one of my favorites but I felt we should have been told the greens were aerated. We wouldn’t have played there had we known. They were very bumpy and not worth playing at this time.
Junior play
Booked a tee time and then called with a "youth on course" player to add. The course welcomed the youth and treated him very respectively.
Great experience
When I arrived at the Pro Shop I was welcomed as a pre-paid customer, and allowed to play right away. The course was punching the back nine greens so we played the front twice, with no wait on the turn.
Great day!
Course is in very good shape. Pace of play was good and the weather was perfect. Only concern was some of the greens had the previous hole locations filled with ill fitting plugs.
I’ll be back here for sure!!
A Monterey Bargain
While in town for the Pro-am, our group likes to play one or two of the local courses. Always looking for bargains, we found Laguna Seca Golf Club on the GolfNow website and gave it a try this year. We were not disappointed. The clubhouse staff was very friendly and accommodating . The course was challenging but not overwhelming to our group of senior golfers. The rough was fair, fairways were good for the time of the year, the bunkers had enough sand, and the greens rolled well. What more could we ask for?
We’ll be back,, maybe we can try a. summer excursion!
