Golfer Reviews
Grass issues!
This course is tricky. The greens are bumpy and the inconsistent blend of "cu-kill-ya grass " makes this a destination to skip. You never really know how your ball will react with a chip or pitch shot. Some will bite super quickly and some will release over the back. I dropped several balls in the same location using the same chipping motion with different results every time :(.
Good experience.
More good quality sand needed in traps.
Cart paths deteriorated. Need repairs.
Great weather, not to bad
Played on a Tuesday morning, nobody playing. Flew through the course. I have a natural fade to my shot (right handed). Everything doglegs left. No yardage markers in fairway. Sprinklers not measured. Fun course. Would play it again.
Needs some work on tees.
Tee boxes were browned out in spots and uneven. Fairways and greens were in pretty good shape.
This course is challenging, but playable
The course is set in a lovely area, and the price is right.
A great value...and a great, great Trent Jones Jr./Sr. track.
Great track. Smokin' deal. I will be back for sure...
Good Course but bring your sand wedge
Just played this course last weekend 8/4 and had a great time. The views are beautiful. As for the course I thought the greens were a little harsh as in condition with burnt are on several greens. The bunkers are everywhere and the sand was different than what I was accustomed to. Other then that the staff was great and the play quick once we got around a very slow foursome.
This course has a lot of different looks
I have played this course over the past ten years and it is always in great shape. Ir has a nice eating area often a lunch salad bar and great food on the menu both breakfast or lunch. The pro shop has many great clothing deals and plenty of specials on many golfing items. The greens hold well, fairways are not dried out and weather is usually great although early mornings can be overcast and cooler. I like this course primarily because each hole is unique and gives you a different look and challenging shots. It is not tricked up but is imaginative at times. There is a par 5 on the back nine that is my favorite and challenging to play . Online deals are also available often and a great way to get great deals on this coutse.
Challenging course with all types of lies.
You need to hit them straight and long to score well. It is very challenging with all the different lies and the wind.
this course is fun and challenging
I really appreciate the fact that the course management has been really good here.
Great Bang For The Buck
I did an early morning round here before heading to Mazda Raceway for MotoPG races and had a very nice time. The course was in very good condition, and some of the holes were very challenging. I'd gladly return here for a nice affordable round of golf.
Get a good deal on Green Fees, then its worth it.
Course is well maintained, but nothing over the top. The normal green fees are a bit high for the value, but I had no trouble finding a better deal on line. I would play again, but only at a discounted rate.
awesome layout
I played the course on a hot deal..what a great rate! My buddy played the course with me for his first time and loved it! We both love the layout really fun!. The opening hole is one of my favorites. Love all of the par 3's. The course rewards you for good shots but doesnt hurt you too bad for offline shots.
Always a challenge. Early tee time a blessing.
Always a challenge. Keep ball in play. If your in the trees it will be a long day. Bring your A up and down game. Don't get out of sync with the hole.
