Not enough carts? Seems like a simple math problem- perhaps common core is to blame?

No starter! On A Saturday!

This facility has great potential. Good layout. There were two greens that need some attention but the rest were good. The grass on the greens is a bit tough to putt (slow).

Pace of play was not a consideration when they selected pin placement. I am sure they were within the rules but....

We haven't played this course in many years and were so looking forward to it. Advised when we arrived that we would be 20 minutes to 1/2 hour later then our starting time. When we showed up at the first tee the groups were lined up and people were asking who was playing at what time. Why was there no starter organizing things?

We loved the golf course and the layout but as having only played once before there was no GPS on the carts and we found it difficult to find the yardage markers. For that amount of money we certainly felt there should have been GPS on the carts.

Would we come back, possibly but there for the amount of money we paid I think we would go elsewhere

No starter, old people chasing every ball in the water with their 20 foot ball retriever on every hole for every ball. Come on man!!!

Love the course and club house. Could use more upscale food.

The course is in about the same shape it has been for the last 3-4 years. They have recently reversed the nines so the daunting 1st hole is now the 10th and you start with a fairly open and reachable par 5. Except for 10 the greens are in good shape as are the fairways. Bunkers are well maintained. Their meal and beverage deals are good and Golf Now has good rates too. 1st nine in 1 hour, 2nd nine just over 2 hours

Showed up a little late for my tee time do to an accident on 75 but the staff were very nice and I still got on as a single. Pace of play was ok, people playing ahead of me appeared to be high handicappers, not that there is nothing wrong with that, but must have been playing for big bucks. I asked the guy playing behind me to join but he refused. Finished in 4 hours. Course layout is challenging and can make you think, especially playing from the #1 or 2 tees. A few greens had some repair work being done but overall thought it was a great value $29 in the afternoon.

We are two for two here - the cart died both rounds so unfortunately we weren't able to play the full 18. The first time we left the cart on the 8th fairway and the second time we called the pro shop from the 4th green but no one answered. Ended up pushing the cart up even the slightest incline all the way into the clubhouse for the next five holes. Staff said "yeah, the carts are old." No apology - really? The front is an interesting and moderately challenging layout with a fair amount of water. Fairways were in decent shape as were the greens. Would play here again but for the indifferent staff and horrible carts.

Great golf course. Highly recommended. Back 9 was a lot tougher than the front 9.

This is the 3rd time I've played this course and I love it. The greens will not hold all your shots and are a little inconsistent. Sand is good and water plentiful. Greens can be tricky depending on hole location. Friendly staff that is very professional.

The course layout is great especially the back nine. But..... Right now the course is very dried out, greens and fringe are good, but the fairways and rough are dry and rough. Water in all ponds is down considerably. We used GN Hot Deals and thought we had Good value, not Great value. Driving range balls were extra.

Legacy is a quality course and one of my favorite courses to play while here in the Sarasota Fl area. over the winter. With the time change and the rate reduction you cannot beat this deal.... I plan to play it once or twice more before heading north to Albany NY .

The course was in phenomenal shape, very challenging as well. The start of the back nine had a lot of water to navigate and can certainly add a few strokes to your score. We used the Golfboards instead of carts, and while new and exciting at first, they lack any extra storage to place items and require a lot of concentration to maneuver. It was cool to try once, but I definitely recommend a golf cart for a smoother experience. The only complaint on course conditions is that there a lot of small divots on the greens, which were in otherwise perfect shape. Nice, soft, easy to really attack the pin. Would definitely recommend playing here.

This course was in wonderful condition, the greens rolled smooth and quick . With the greens fees you get a great breakfast and lunch with two beverages , staff were very friendly and helpful. Pace of play was great approximately 3 1/2 hours with our early morning round.

I love the layout and have played here multiple times since it opened. The greens fell into fair to poor condiction in 2014 2015. The greens are back in great shape now. Thumbs up from me.

I had time for 9 holes before dark and took advantage of it. I knew the course had golf boards available thanks to their website, so I opted to give it a go.

I only played the front 9. The layout of the course was enjoyable, the tee boxes, fairways, and greens were all well cared for. I had a few concerns from reading previous reviews about poor maintenance conditions, but that seems to have taken a positive turn as I didn't note anything that needed more than minor attention.

I like to walk, but I'm glad I did not as with most Florida courses, there can be significant distance between green -> tee box since most courses are jammed in residential developments. Even though this course is in a residential area, it's not a negative situation unless you're looking for untamed wilderness.

The golf board was a highlight. It was an insignificant uncharge and I didn't think twice about doing it. The instruction was quick and getting the hang of it only took about 2 holes before I was riding confidently. If you can balance fairly well, give it a try - just avoid the curbs at the tee boxes.
