About
Just north of the Jacksonville Airport, Fernandina Beach Golf Club offers three 18-hole courses that are conveniently located within distance of both Jacksonville and the beach. There are three distinct nines at the club that create three different 18-hole combinations. The West/South combination is the tournament course at Fernandina Beach Golf Club. The West nine is long and there is a challenging par-5 that is one of the most difficult on the golf course. The South nine features an abundance of trees and water hazards, putting a heavier emphasis on accuracy rather than distance in scoring well. The golf course is also considered a perfect example of scenic Florida golf with native foliage and wildlife throughout.

Poorly maintained.
The course in in poor condition, even considering that it’s early April. Tees are OK, fairways lack sufficient grass, greens are uneven in texture and cut. The layout is open to challenging depending on the hole.
Terrible condition
First time playing this course and I will not be back
Course was in terrible shape. Tees, fairways and greens. Poor turf / leaves every where.
Not sure if they have a grounds crew, but if so there is no budget for maintenance.
The course was not in good shape. we played north. The greens were in terrible shape. I had a big discount but would not have paid full price. Sorry, but did not enjoy it.
Grounds keeping
Good experience but the tee boxes were not kept good and most greens were very rough. Keep in mind this was early spring and would enjoy playing again to see if the course changes with the season.

Just go somewhere else
For the price, the course is in pretty rough conditions. Being from the north I’m very used to really poor winter conditions, but a lot of my northern courses are in far better condition, and nowhere near the price. Would not recommend.
