Bent Creek Golf Course
About
Since the opening of Bent Creek Golf Course in 1989, the 6,420-yard, par-71 course has provided a challenging golf experience for residents of Northeast Florida and visitors alike.
Crafted by renowned architect Bobby Weed with consulting services by Mark McCumber, Bent Creek's meandering terrain takes golfers through a certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary, towering pines and alongside creeks and swales. The championship layout boasts Bermuda grass greens, plush fairways and a state-of-the-art lighted practice facility - home of the Bent Creek Golf Academy.
From the back tees, Bent Creek carries a rating of 71.6 and a slope of 136. The challenge starts with the first hole, which measures 538 yards from the gold tees, just 20 yards short of No. 15, the longest hole on the golf course.

Loved it
Great course for the deal we got. Not a very creative layout but beautiful. Greens in great condition, along with fairways and tee boxes.
Good value
First time playing this course. Fairways and greens were in good condition. Layout was fun to play. I did not experience the bunkers so I can’t comment on condition of sand. Due to rain for several days earlier carts were limited to cart paths only. Cart paths can use some improvements and extensions. Overall, I would recommend.
Had fun
The greens were pretty hard, and were rolling pretty slow. We were warned of the greens being shaggy from the gentleman in the pro shop before starting our round (because the rain received the week prior was preventing some mowing). Decent pace of play, and fun track!
Great Value
Course conditions were great! Staff was friendly, excellent value for the money! Highly recommended!
Great Course
Course is in top notch condition. Greens are in great shape
Groupings
I rent a cart for one player. The starter matches me with a golfer in a separate cart. He's a scratch golfer. I am a mid-handicap golfer. It would be nice if the starter would match up players closer to their handicap or play level. It's frustrating and tiring playing catch up around 18 holes.
Hot day
Course is coming along. Greens were recently punched so in a few weeks they should be in good shape. Ron at the front desk is very nice and gives good information about the course. Cart girl was friendly and came by quite often. My only complaint was when we made it to the 16 th tee a threesome was teeing off with only two sets of clubs each player should have a set or it slows down play. Luckily we caught them at the end of the round. The Creek is fun I will be back.
Greens guy needed
I played when the temporary greens were in then it seemed to get expensive. Now it’s cheaper because it appears they are losing the greens again. Theirs lots of repairs started and not completed on one hole has a big drain hole wash out. Seems like time for
Management change. I heard they have a kid they permitted to keeping the greens with little to no experience and it shows. My friends were members and they just dropped out because of management. We all Know how it is when a manager thinks he’s invincible karma usually catches them
103rd st
the place is in top notch shape, fairways , tees ,& the greens are awesome, they've made an incredible come back, from losing all of there greens. I've always loved this place, plenty of room to play your shots, but get sideways, & good luck getting your ball back. the underbrush is seriously thick. I hope it stays this way.
Great course for the money. Especially if you can get a deal.
