Bent Creek Golf Course
About
Since the opening of Bent Creek Golf Course in 1989, the 6,420-yard, par-71 course has provided a challenging golf experience for residents of Northeast Florida and visitors alike.
Crafted by renowned architect Bobby Weed with consulting services by Mark McCumber, Bent Creek's meandering terrain takes golfers through a certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary, towering pines and alongside creeks and swales. The championship layout boasts Bermuda grass greens, plush fairways and a state-of-the-art lighted practice facility - home of the Bent Creek Golf Academy.
From the back tees, Bent Creek carries a rating of 71.6 and a slope of 136. The challenge starts with the first hole, which measures 538 yards from the gold tees, just 20 yards short of No. 15, the longest hole on the golf course.

Fun Course in a beautiful setting.
I would definitely play this course again. Greens were nice even though they had just been aerated. You could play from a variety of lengths from different tee boxes. What was really cool was that each hole was on its own. It was like a nice walk through a nature preserve. Seeing the cool birds that were around the course was cool too.
Friendly staff. Course in good condition….tricky greens. I enjoy this course.
Good value for the money
Taking advantage of the hot deals offered makes this course a good value. While not the longest course out there it has plenty of hazards and creative design that make it difficult for the average golfer while being fun to play. The staff are pretty friendly and the facilities are nice, would definitely recommend checking this one out.
Fast greens
Have not played Bent Creek since the greens were re-done. They were fast and smooth and could not have been more happy. Pace of play, since I was a single, was great until I got to # 14 stopped dead and joined up with two other singles which was just fine with me. All in all it was great day to play the Creek.
Greens are back
1/2/23 - Friendly staff, greens rolled very well, and pace of play was 3.5 hours (12:30-4pm) as a single riding with my wife behind a threesome. Our cart died on #15 but the pro shop ran another out to us in less than 5 minutes. Great day. Rated 4 stars due to some course conditions. Greens are nice, but there are other areas that we could use some tlc.
Great round
This course has gotten better than the last two or three times we've played now that greens are back up and looking decent awesome layout and staff always polite and helpful. Cart person is a plus. Will be back soon.
Course is definitely improving.
Condition of the course, I.e. greens, etc. were extremely improved from the last time played.
Course in good shape
The only minus is no Marshall’s on course to help speed up slow players
Bent creek is back
After a couple off years Bent Creek is back. Course condition is excellent. Greens roll true.
Pretty good for a city course
Greens seemed a little slow
Good course to play
New greens in great shape, fairways and rough were a little wet in places but overall very enjoyable course
New Greens
The new greens are in perfect shape. The course as a whole is playing better than ever.
Bent creek
Generally a good course. Pace is a bit alow. Quite soggy in aome areas.
While coming to 12 there was a single player waiting on the group in front when someone ce along and jumpped in front of him. He started going back and told The young ranger. The ranger mistakenly accused us of.skipping the guy. We explained we just got there and the older gent told us about it and we hadnt skipped anyone. It was resolved as he realized te.people.he was told about were just leaving the green.
Generally no issues there. This time it was a bit annoying to be accused of something when we clearly were not the ones.
