Bent Creek Golf Course

Was able to book at the last moment and enjoyed the course in spite of the greens being redone

We really enjoyed the friendly, laid back atmosphere. Great place for us to start essentially being beginners. We will definitely go back!!

Golf Now seems to have neglected to mention when booking Bent Creek GC that all 18 greens are under major construction. Temporary greens are the end of the fairway with a flag stick and two concentric painted circles around the flag. The tee boxes have been moved back to make up for part of the hole distance. The par 3’s are a short pitching wedge away. Forget any meaningful putting.

Had we known the conditions it certainly would not have been our choice to play the Holiday weekend.

Green are temp greens , so course was setup shorter, was behind 2 different 3 person teams and they were really slow I wasn't in a hurry so over all 4 , when greens get done it will be fantastic, fairways we're awesome

All greens are temporary which I did not see noted on Golfnow! Temp greens were small and average condition at best. Still enjoyed our round and overall course was good. Pace of play excellent. Only waited a minute or 2 on a couple holes... great day to play

Terrible, paid $43 to play, Course had church group shotgun tournament delaying our 10:32 tee time to 11:25. Pace was extremely slow, greens were literally dead and painted green. Putting on the greens was like putting on an airport tarmac. Pace was so slow and after 5 1/2 hours we had to leave after 14 holes to get one of our players to the airport so he didn't miss his flight.

Wouldn't play here again if it was free.

Greens have no grass but full price. Played 4 holes in one hour. Worst golf course I have played in 20 years. Don’t waste your money.

In good condition, working on the greens now. Staff very friendly.

Overall course layout is good with challenging holes. Tee boxes need work and greens are lightning quick. You cant attempt to hit the green on an apptoach shot as they are so hard they repel the ball onto fringes. If you try to do a bump/run to get on the green, fringes are soft/gmarly and stop/ deflect the ball. Pretty impossible situation. A member we were pkaying with advised all greens would be temporary next week for next 4 months as the course rebuilds all the holes. So wait until fall to try this course.

Course is about to undergo green replacement. Greens are bad.

Course is dry and hard.

Pace of play terrible. 5 hour round in middle of day. Beginning players with no course etiquette holding up entire course and no rangers to be found.

Least enjoyable round in a long time.

I’d wait until new greens are established before considering this course.

The day started out a little chilly, but got nicer as the day rolled into the afternoon. Course was in great condition & the green look & played great. Greens were very fast with little breaking, were very green & looked great. We started at 0945 and the golfers in front played a t a good pace & no one was behind us. This is the third time I've played this course & have enjoyed it every time.

Had a great round with a good buddy who’s new to golf, there wasn’t many people on the course so we all had plenty of time to play and had a really great round. Love the holes and the course is very beginner friendly.
