About
The 18-hole Magnolia Course at Walt Disney World Golf Resort in Lake Buena Vista, FL is a resort golf course that opened in 1971. Designed by Joe Lee and Rocky Roquemore, Magnolia Course at Walt Disney World Golf Resort measures 7505 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 142 and a 76.6 USGA rating. The course features 5 sets of tees for different skill levels. Greens and fairways are bermuda grass.
Of all the Disney courses, the Magnolia supports a greater abundance of wildlife. At any given time, you're likely to see deer, osprey, alligators and turtles. A flock of wild turkeys has brought several tournaments to a standstill while they pecked along its fairways. The course features elevated tees and greens with wide and generous fairways graced by over 1,500 magnolia trees that bloom from late spring to mid-summer. Brightly colored crape myrtles and oleanders, along with beds of blue plumbego and seasonal flowers, add sparkle to an otherwise dense, natural forest.

Further to my previous
Disney, after seeing my review, contacted me to acknowledge that I was overcharged and I have a refund coming. Kudos for the quick customer care, JR

Course was in fair condition, several ratty areas. Only14 holes I understood why. Fee should be commensurate with absence of 4 holes.
Bad value only 14 holes open
I paid full 18-Hole rate for only 14 open holes through Golf Now and because they billed me in advance I was unable to get the 33% refund the clubhouse offered people who booked directly with the course. I was told to contact GolfNow by Disney to get the refund they were giving. Unable to reach Golf Now and still haven’t got a refund. Bad value and this was a rip off.
Very Disappointing
Thankfully we obtained a "hot rate" of $81 per player instead of the $159 they were charging the non-Florida residents.
That price was to play 14 holes as 4 holes were under construction. We were aware of this going in before we purchased. Again, thankfully we paid only $81 under a "hot rate".
Play was extremely slow. The condition of the course was average at best which was disappointing. We had played this course before and it was in much better condition.
It certainly wasn't the Happiest Place on Earth that day!!!

A lot of money for 14 holes
Paid $173 for the round. Wanted to play this course because of its history. Very disappointed that we seemed to have paid full price for only being able to play 80% of the course.
GolfNow told us about the 4 hole closure (15-18), but still wanted to play. Just shocked that they still charged the price.
If all 18 were available, a 5 rating across the board

Disney's Magnolia Golf Course is currently operating as a shortened 14-hole routing, and our website documents that, and GolfNow have made updates to their website to communicate that too.

As per the notification on our website, which has been posted since late November, Disney's Magnolia Golf Course is still in the process of completing the reimagination project that started in Spring 2022. All guests are supposed to receive a 33% discount due to the fact that we have 23% less holes available for play. Only holes #1 - #14 are currently open. Staff are the most friendliest around.
Played while the course is re-doing the last four holes. We booked on golf now and didn't know it was just 14 holes. However the staff did everything they could do to to make up for it. Offer to let us play 4 to 14 more holes when we were done. Everyone there was super friendly. Course other wise was in great condition. Also great lay out.

Beautiful Golf Course
This is a beautiful golf course, but sadly it's only 14 holes. I was looking forward for an 18 holes, but I was disappointed that it's only a 14 holes . However, the staff were very apologetic for not me knowing that it has only 18 holes. So, I am giving it a 4 stars for the super nice staff, all of them....
Moved us to the Palm on the back
Magnolia is nice. The back 9 was closed so we played the front on the Palm. First 4 holes on the Palm felt like playing on a construction zone beside a freeway. The last few holes were great.
We are sorry that the roadway construction behind hole #4 green and adjacent to hole #5 was an interference in your road of golf.

Very nice course
We enjoy this course, it worth the money we spent. Very friendly employees but they are looking for tip when you finish your game by standing near the cart and try to do something like washing our clubs.
A very large disappointment
A very large disappointment. We played this course and we were incredibly disappointed with the conditions. We were asked to play 9 on Magnolia and 9 on the Palm course. We waited over an hour at the turn and the front nine was absolutely despicable conditions. The back nine on the palm were actually good conditions but given the price we paid it was not fair to the customer. I have written Disney a review and I hope I hear back.
