The Country Club of Mount Dora is a semi-private club located 35 miles northwest of downtown Orlando in the hills of Lake County. The course was built by Clifton, Ezell & Clifton design and opened in 1991 and features water on 16 of 18 holes, as well as raised greens and bunkers. The course is set on mature landscape and affords views of the nearby horse farms and lakes. The par-72 course features bermuda grass tees and greens, plus three tee boxes to choose from. The country club is also home to a clubhouse, swimming pool and four tennis courts onsite.

Good shape, nice staff.
A couple of long ways between the greens and tee boxes = not a walking course.
Very offen, no protection fences to cover the streets or houses.

Always a treat
This course is not long (we play greens at 6200) but will most likely give you all you can handle. Plenty of dog legs and tight fairways. Don’t be fooled by the wide open 1st hole, you won’t see a wide fairway again until the 9th. Greens always in good shape.

Good layout. Friendly staff. Poor people of play.
Every think good except pace of play. Need to police slower groups better. A group that teed off 30 minutes ahead of us helds us up every hole after we caught them after 3 holes. Not good!!!! This is not the first time.

Very good course
This course has very good conditions, a courteous staff, and a nice layout. It seems to be well run. The fairways vary in difficulty from fairly easy to fairly difficult. It is always a pleasure to play there.
