Royal Oaks Golf Club
About
The brilliant Terry LaGree design harmonizes with spectacular scenery to create Royal Oaks -- a unique and picturesque course. Powder sand bunkers dot undulating fairways lined by stately oaks and shimmering water. The course, part of the Audubon system, has preserved mature trees and native vegetation, making it a sanctuary for migratory birds and an unmatched setting for your game. The 6,650-yard par 72 course features four tee boxes on every hole. The front nine is characterized by rolling fairways with up to 35-foot elevation changes, lined with tall Slash Pines and Blue Jack Oaks. The back nine features an open meadow appearance with stands of stately live oaks shading some of the greens. Generous landing areas reward well-placed shots.

Excellent round
Our group of 8 had never played there, so we didn't know what to expect. Everyone to a person can't wait to return. Fairways were in good shape, and the greens were quick and true. There's water on only one hole, but the course is challenging enough for us hackers that we really didn't notice.
Course is in need of maintenance
Course is in need of cart path improvements and needs water on the fairways. Greens are in good condition and roll true but have significant slopes. Back nine plays a lot harder than the front
a perfect golf experience for an average player
A threesome of senior citizens enjoyed playing the course from the super senior tees on a beautiful day in Florida
Very well maintained course
Greens and fairways are in good condition. Lots of green everywhere. Not many hazards, so not too difficult except for a few nasty pin placements.
Back to Royal Oaks
Between covid19 and shoulder issues I haven't been playing for 6 months. Finally feeling like I could swing again I headed to Royal Oaks because it's always in great condition. Needless to say I was not disappointed and will be back often.
Great condition and friendly staff.
Always a great course to play. Fairways and greens great and a fair price!!
The course was in good condition, the pace of play was awful. The course was overbooked and everyone was waiting to take shots. It took 4 1/2 hours to play 18.It would have been longer if the group in front of us went directly to 10 after playing 9.No excuse for this, it took all the fun out of playing.
Great Experience
We had our first experience at Royal Oaks. We throughly enjoyed playing two rounds at your course. Also had a wonderful lunch between rounds. We had eight players and had only positive remarks from everyone!! We look forward to playing your course again!
Extremely slow greens.
Royal Oak is such a nice course. The course layout is very fair for men and women both. The big problem is the slowness of the greens. We couldn’t blame the recent rains as we played before the rains came 4 days ago and the greens were very slow then also.
Great course not a lot of trouble to get into!
IT can be a nice course if you stay in the fairway, and even if you happen to stray a bit the ball will still be findable at least. A little water to contend with and a few limbs and bunkers to make it just a little more challenging! Staff was SUPER FRIENDLY and HELPFUL.
The staff here is very professional. I got to see how they handled a rude disgruntled player and I can tell you they went out of their way to try and satisfy that person. BRAVO to the STAFF!
Pleasantly surprised
Nice course in good condition. Greens a little slow, but challenging. A little out of the way.
You will need GPS. Worth the money. I will be back.
Nice course
We played this course on February 8. My husband and I were quite happy with the overall course conditions, especially the putting greens. We would love to play this course when the grass isn’t dormant. Wintertime golf doesn’t get any better than this. We were also pleased with the price of our round. It was very reasonable.
