About
The brilliant Terry LaGree design harmonizes with spectacular scenery to create Royal Oaks -- a unique and picturesque course. Powder sand bunkers dot undulating fairways lined by stately oaks and shimmering water. The course, part of the Audubon system, has preserved mature trees and native vegetation, making it a sanctuary for migratory birds and an unmatched setting for your game. The 6,650-yard par 72 course features four tee boxes on every hole. The front nine is characterized by rolling fairways with up to 35-foot elevation changes, lined with tall Slash Pines and Blue Jack Oaks. The back nine features an open meadow appearance with stands of stately live oaks shading some of the greens. Generous landing areas reward well-placed shots.

New Resident
Just recently moved to Oak Run. First time playing 18 holes at Royal Oak. The staff and course were amazing. Played another 9 holes the following day. Excited to play again in the near future!
Love all the trees.
We golfed with 84 year old Joe and enjoyed the round very much. Hope we get to golf with him again in the future.

The course has enough tee boxes to satisfy every golfer to pick one that best fits their game. Course is in great condition . Staff was friendly and very helpful with questions
great course, overseeded so it looked green
first time played it, good condition, greens could be faster, but were ok
pace could be better, but we were a twosome, so that didn't help, we played within 4 hours, so not bad afterall
Beautiful course, ugly/staff
Course was in great shape. Price was a little high for 9 holes. Staff and a few local golfers were about as rude and unwelcoming of anyone I’ve ever met. Especially on Thanksgiving. I would NOT golf here again. If I could score 0 for staff I would.
Great course in very good shape. Might be in the best shape of any course around. Plush and fun.
Fairway rye grass to high
The grass in the fairways had not been cut and it was impossible to get a lie without grass behind the ball even after moving it.
