Solid resort course
Staff was great on keeping you on pace and starting on time. Greens rolled great. Rough currently being grown out for winter. Bunkers weren't the greatest but it did just rain. Overall, great course.
US Open rough around the greens
In decent shape, but had some bare patches on tee boxes and a few greens. What's with the US open rough around greens? Nothing like hitting shots 5-10 feet off greens and barely seeing the top of your ball because its so deep in the rough. And this is on every hole. Not fun for amateurs or fair. Need to change that for me to return.
Always good
Had interesting round of golf as it was very windy and the person they paired me up with could only make it through 9 holes. We had twosome that let us in front of them and then proceeded to hit down on while we were still in the fairway. Once I hit the back 9 solo twosome in front of me had no desire for me to join up with them and kept me waiting the rest of the round. Course was in good shape and nice to see the GPSs finally back in the carts.
Very nice Course With a great location
We could not finish our round as it became to dark. IT was a litte to slow tempo. The 3,5 our was only untill hole 15 so the last 3 could not be playd but anyhow a great courseu
Practice range a joke
Course had not fully filled in from overseeding so it was a bit unfair to judge. Greens were very slow. Ranger on duty monitoring the pace of play which was good. Course is well run and very organized/courteous. Price included a bag of range balls, however, one gripe was that public players like myself were assigned to a small hitting area (not the main larger area that was obviously being used for lessons). We had to wait until bays became available as it could only fit 6 or 7. When a bay freed up it was a mess. No grass whatsoever, and one's feet just sank into the sand. This is why I am only giving it 3 stars. The course itself is well laid out and challenging, placing a premium on good driving. Heavily bunkered greens.
Definite replay !
Found a good deal and was a really glad I played this course. Some very challenging holes, and they are all appealing and different. Really enjoyed it, course was in awesome shape for mid November especially from tee to green.
Marriott knows how to do golf
One of my favorites in Orlando.
Great course with great practice
Facilities.
Really fun and challenging course
Very fun course. One of my favorites in Orlando, challenging shots on every hole. Greens are tough but true. Course is well maintained, very nice, not quite pristine. I really enjoyed all the holes, and the 15 mph wind made it even more tough. Complimentary yardage book was awesome and a huge help, too notch service all around. For $45, can't get a much better value. Will definitely be back here!
Well conditioned, greens rolled fast and true
This course was well maintained and the greens rolled fast and true. The staff was great. Ranger kept play moving. Nice golf experience.
Ready for another round
This course was in great condition and the staff went out of their way to ensure that we had a good time. My only complaint is that they allowed a twosome in between fours...it slowed everyone down.
The greens were fast, but true and smooth. It was a very enjoyable round at a great price. Thanks, Golfnow.
The course is well maintained
This is usually one of the first courses we play when visiting Orlando, and on this trip, my husband is playing for the5th time today and we played it together twice. We usually pick this course when friends are in town.
Great place
We had a great day. Course is beautiful and well maintained. Very friendly and helpful staff. I will definitely be back to play again! Thanks for a great day!!
Play if you get a good deal
Good conditions overall. Greens had been punched recently, so I don't know what condition they're normally in. Tee boxes were quite shaggy, though. The staff was excellent, even including the rangers. The rangers were present only when a little on-course reshuffling needed to happen. Everyone seemed to have a primary goal of ensuring each guest had the best experience as possible while doing so in a low-key, easygoing manner that didn't reek of generic disingenuous customer service platitudes. The course didn't wow me, but the staff sure did.
Very Nice Resort Course
The golf course is a lot of fun. A lot of very interesting holes. The facility is very nice, as you would expect from a resort golf course. The greens were recently punched, but for the most part the ball still rolls fairly true. The fairways, rough and bunkers were all well taken care of. The course is a fairly challenging design but fair with nice landing areas. I recommend a GPS or range finder because the markers are hard to see and they no longer have GPS in their carts. would play here again if the price was right..
Good golf for every level
The course is in good condition. The greens had been punched recently which affected the roll of the ball, especially on some down hill putts, but course maintenance must be expected. It was a nice touch for the club to give yardage books, especially since GPS systems had not yet been installed on the carts. All the staff were very welcoming. While play was somewhat slow, that must be expected on all resort courses, I have found. I would definitely play this course again.
2 days of very Fun Golf with old buds
The course is 1.5miles from SeaWorld. The course has a great layout and has elevated greens which adds to the challenge. The difficulty is 3.5 stars not to tough but fun and the greens were not to hard to read. Play here and you will enjoy the game and get free range balls. The tees were a little sandy, the greens typical Florida grass and were in 3.5 star shape also. Worth the Money.
Worst Golf Experience I've Ever Had
The weather was great, the course was in good shape, what's the problem? My group teed off at 11:30 a.m and we finished at 5:45pm. The rangers and staff did nothing to improve the pace of play. When asked what the hold up was the ranger was very dissmisive and rude. When we finished and told the staff that at the price a 6hr+ rd is excessive they were very dismissive and rude. If you do not want to play a 6+ hr rd. DO NOT PLAY HERE!!! They do not work to improve pace of play and for the money there are plenty of places in Orlando that do make slower groups move ahead or let faster groups thru. Grande Pines does not.
great course
great course, holes 10 and 11 challenging, course overall beautiful...would golf here weekly .....
nice course but airrated greens
they should let you know before you pay or give you a discount
very good
course in good condition, required accurate shots, play was a little slow
