Great course especially when found at a good rate.
This course is always in great condition and is one of my favorite courses to play. When a good rate is found it makes the experience even better. This course has it's challenges for golfers of all levels.
Even in the rain.
It rained most of the week that I played, but the course drained well and was an enjoyable experience even in the rain. Tee boxes were in great shape, fairways looked good even though the rain should have had them swampy, greens were in good shape as well. Some of the bunkers that were on the score card have been filled in on a few holes, but there is plenty more trouble to get into for a challenge. Nice driving range, chipping and putting areas to practice. Awesome staff that are there to take your clubs and clean them off at bag drop. I was allowed the use of a locker for a change of clothes. Good times, I will be back again.
Good change of pace
While Grande Pines is not a long course, it does have enough challenging holes to make it worth the trip. The greens were consistent (not fast) and the fairways well maintained. A nice tree lined walk or ride. The par 3's were all good holes. Stay below the hole on all of them
Amazing track.... dont think.... just book it.
Hard, fast, and true.... excellent course, use every club in the bag for sure.
Great course for the money.
Not a bad course for the money. Very slow play is a big turn off for me but, not bad overall. Just not a favorite.
Love this place
The staff is made up of true pro's who understand that you are the most important person around. Its great to be here, I randomly come to Orlando for business and I try to play here each time I come now based on the rates with this app and the how well this place stacks up to other ones I've played in the area.
Their rental clubs are very nice, RocketBallz, but the grips are totally worn so you'll need a right hand glove to make your round more enjoyable.... actually, you'll need at least 3 sets of gloves because its FL and you'll sweat through them.
Some holes you will not forget a great place to play golf
Play Grand Pines every time I visit Florida because it never disappoints. The condition of the course is excellent and the team that support the day are great....see you next time!
Called the night before to find out about Course Conditions and was told by the Pro Shop "Great Shape!"
Arrived at the course and found they had put sand on the greens
that same morning!
Also, very slow play. Left after the 14th hole, 3 1/2 hours into the
round at that point.
Great course
Very good course for a round of golf. The staff is very friendly and very well maintained golf course. Totally worth the shot to play here.
Great course, great staff, a must play
A must play course. Crazy undulating greens, open fairways, but still has trees if you go stray.
Maybe the Best in Orlando
This is a great course. All holes are unique and interesting. You must chose a club wisely. A little to far and you are through the fairway.
Super Course
Staff was great, the course was in great condition. Not an easy course but if you keep the ball in the fairway you won't pull your hair out.
Nice layout...
After receiving two inches of rain during the week, the course was soggy and "cart path only". Since I suffer from back issues, if I had been made aware of the cart restrictions I would have chosen another course. At one point during the round I did drive 90 degrees on one of the dry fairways. The "ranger" came over and was quit rude and dismissive...pointing and yelling at me and my playing partner. I explained my back condition and asked him for a handicap flag. He said he would get back to me, but never did. His attitude and lack of follow-up was a huge disappointment! Other staff members were friendly...
Grand Pines
Course has good layout and open. Not a lot of trouble to get around. greens were a little rough, might have verticut a few.
Course was wet Cart path only
It was unusually slow on the course and extremely wet. We asked to play 9 more holes but they wanted us to pay another 35$. That's what the 18 holes cost us. We explained kindly of our sliw round and that we payed 40$ to play but there was no budging. We frequently play this course but there are plenty of other courses in Orlando who allow cheaper replay with better conditions and pace if play.
Excellent Course!
The course has 4 tee box options - black, blue, white, gold - played both white (6100 yds) and blue (6600 yds). Fairways are wide enough if you hit it straight, greens are fairly sized for approach shots. A few greens can be reached with a good drive. Draws and fades needed on some holes to get a better approach shot. Greens are receptive, have subtle undulations, but are a bit on the slower side. Rough is forgiving, bunkers are soft and fluffy. Water hazards are present but not a factor if you know your distances with your clubs. Friendly and helpful staff. Location is very accessible. Excellent course, great value! Will definitely come back on my next visit!
Excellent, challenging course in pristine condition for little $.
Great course. Nice features like GPS in the carts at a very low price.
why did wait so long...
I've lived in Orlando for 8 years and am saddened it took me so long to discover Grand Pines. Its a great course. The pace was quick. Staff was excellent. It DRAINS! If you play a lot of golf here then you know how important that is. Played the day after a huge storm and only two holes were cart path only. This is one of my regular courses now for sure.
Underrated. Extremely playable.
Great value. Very nice course from the green
tees.
