Bordering the Indian River, Viera East Golf Club sprawls across a landscape of sparkling blue lakes and native marshland that is accented with towering pines and cypress trees. The well known layout is considered one of the best and most affordable public golf courses in Florida. The course features large, undulating greens that are carefully protected by numerous bunkers and risk-reward opportunities that will challenge even the lowest handicappers. Although the course offers a fairly formidable test, beginners will be comforted by the wide fairways that have ample bailout room. Viera East Golf Club's eighth and ninth holes are a memorable duo, beginning with a short par 4 that is the best birdie opportunity on the course. The ninth is another par 4 with water all along the left and trees along the right. Both holes are made even more challenging with strategic bunkering along the greensides.

The Best
Great course. Great folks. Really good food, broad menu, Great bar.
Sunny day special
Great course and fabulous staff. Bob is 82 and allowed to hit from Sky t box. Most t box options, anywhere which sets up for all levels and allows for a good pase of play.
3 hours to play 9 holes
Took 3 hours to play 9 holes. Told the ranger and he didn’t seem to care. Don’t plan on playing here again which is a shame cause the course looked well maintained.
Good value
Greens are lightening fast. Fairways good condition. Tee boxes beat up a bit. Great patio. Great putting green and drinking bing range. Good food

Good Course
Course is well taken care of, compared to other courses near by. Fairways in good condition, considering the current severe drought.
Similar to Duran
Course played like Duran. Wide and long w a few holes where playing "smart golf" is a good idea. Condutions of fairways and greens was suprisingly nice minus any rain. Some tee boxes were wasted...find a spot and tee up
Great Day Golfing at Viera East
Course was in great shape from tee to green. The pace was good - we finished in a 4:15. A good number of fun wholes!

Course is in good shape. They sent out on the back only because they were watering the front. Course played fast and fair.
Fast, but fair.
Fairways run fast. Greens are fast also, but fair. $60 for 4 bloody Mary’s are a bit ridiculous. Being a cooler.
