About
Bordering the Indian River, Viera East Golf Club sprawls across a landscape of sparkling blue lakes and native marshland that is accented with towering pines and cypress trees. The well known layout is considered one of the best and most affordable public golf courses in Florida. The course features large, undulating greens that are carefully protected by numerous bunkers and risk-reward opportunities that will challenge even the lowest handicappers. Although the course offers a fairly formidable test, beginners will be comforted by the wide fairways that have ample bailout room. Viera East Golf Club's eighth and ninth holes are a memorable duo, beginning with a short par 4 that is the best birdie opportunity on the course. The ninth is another par 4 with water all along the left and trees along the right. Both holes are made even more challenging with strategic bunkering along the greensides.

Golfer Reviews
So So Day at Viera East
Overall just an Ok day at Viera East. Course conditions were OK average with scruffy patches in the fairways, a few tired tee boxes and greens that ran around 9 on the SM. Bunkers were a little inconsistent and could use a little work around the edging. Pace of play could have been a little better...
Really like this course
Tee boxes are in definite need of repair.. Especially ladies tee boxes.
Fun but challenging
Viera is sneeky a little tricky golf course. Greens are faster then they look. Course in good condition, pace of play was great. A very fun place to play and challenge yourself.
Play here
This course is both challenging and extremely fair. Want to rip a driver - have at it. Want to play precise golf - it’s there for you. Course is in excellent condition. Greens are fast and tricky. Staff was friendly. Pro shop stocked. Starter kept things moving - even on a busy Friday. Just an overall good time.
Great course!
Course is in great shape, greens are very fast. Great bang for your buck!.
Really good shape
The course or the money in really nice shape. I’ve played here before and wasn’t happy with how slow the greens were but this time they were in great shape. A place not to go is Indian river preserve. Aka walk about. It’s a horse pasture and that couse use to be in great shape. The tides have turned.
