About
Bordering the Indian River, Viera East Golf Club sprawls across a landscape of sparkling blue lakes and native marshland that is accented with towering pines and cypress trees. The well known layout is considered one of the best and most affordable public golf courses in Florida. The course features large, undulating greens that are carefully protected by numerous bunkers and risk-reward opportunities that will challenge even the lowest handicappers. Although the course offers a fairly formidable test, beginners will be comforted by the wide fairways that have ample bailout room. Viera East Golf Club's eighth and ninth holes are a memorable duo, beginning with a short par 4 that is the best birdie opportunity on the course. The ninth is another par 4 with water all along the left and trees along the right. Both holes are made even more challenging with strategic bunkering along the greensides.

Nice....
It is a great place to play. Had a good time even with the two we were paired with. Their etiquette was poor and would continually be it the line of hitting the ball. The only complaint was the way you had to order a burger or dog, go through the bar which was busy as the dickens. The actual course, layout and condition was way above average for the area. It is very near the top of my list of courses to play in this area.

Although golf course is undergoing heavy upgrades but the greens and fairways are pretty much maintained. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Well maintained, nice track, excellent service
I got a great deal from Golf Now. Excellent facilities for practice. The staff is well-trained, pleasant and very courteous. They convey that they are glad you chose Viera East -- and you feel glad you did as well. Some renovations to pro shop taking place, but minimal problem.. Brought out of town guest and he loved it too..
I live on a muny nearby; but for just a few dollars more, I travel 12 miles to play this course -- much better value and playing experience. Highly recommend.

Nice layout but slow again
Played Friday at 10am and Sunday at 9:45am. The rounds are just too long when you are waiting every shot. Please get a ranger and speed up the pace!
The food at the course is awesome and yes, I will go back but it’s painful to golf so slow! ☹️

One of my space coast favorites
Great course with an interesting layout. Drains well, challenging but fair. Beautiful condition. Newly rebuilt everything from the irrigation system to the driveway range and pro shop. Newly built outside bar. Super friendly staff. Starter was a super nice and accommodating. Highly recommend this course.

Slow play
We had and elderly group in front of us hitting from the blues there were 2 holes open in front of us and they said they talked to them and out of spite they went even slower and talking on there phones on the tee box. I don’t know who they were but it was obvious that they’ve played there often and the marshal let them do what they wanted

Under construction
Very nice course. #17 is closed. Course is damp due to all the rain lately. Should be discounted due to construction and closed hole.

A lot of construction
Take a pass until the construction is done. 2 holes closed , a lot around clubhouse and putting green not, really giving a discount. When it’s done it’s a nice course played several times. Tee boxes need work.

Good day game
Great golf games for threesomes, the pace was slow, but overall it’s highly recommended , beautiful weather, friendly staff as always and course is dry and greens were good

Overall very good but...
Construction going on. No hole #18, closed due to construction. A LONG way between tee boxes making walking imposible. No direction on how to get to next tee box. Due to rain a lot of standing water and muddy areas. Sand traps were not raked and very hard, many footprints in the dry areas. Greens were fast but true.
