Bordering the Indian River, Viera East Golf Club sprawls across a landscape of sparkling blue lakes and native marshland that is accented with towering pines and cypress trees. The well known layout is considered one of the best and most affordable public golf courses in Florida. The course features large, undulating greens that are carefully protected by numerous bunkers and risk-reward opportunities that will challenge even the lowest handicappers. Although the course offers a fairly formidable test, beginners will be comforted by the wide fairways that have ample bailout room. Viera East Golf Club's eighth and ninth holes are a memorable duo, beginning with a short par 4 that is the best birdie opportunity on the course. The ninth is another par 4 with water all along the left and trees along the right. Both holes are made even more challenging with strategic bunkering along the greensides.

Great Golf
The course was in great shape with fast greens. Beware the downhill putt. The restaurant has great food for after your round.
Viera East Hold
Per usual this course seems to always be in good shape year round, the team at Viera East has really impressed as far as keeping the course in playable condition. Bunkers have recently had new sand placed in them, fluffy and tough. The greens are fast, but fix the pitch marks people. I spend a lot of time walking around the green fixing pitch marks that are clearly very new. I love how close the range and putting area are to the first tee. I’ve played $100+ courses in Florida that aren’t as good as Viera East.
Pittsburgh visit
Nice course. Guy in pro shop wasn’t very friendly. Starter was great. Nice course for $50 for 18. Greens little bumpy. Would play again
Nice Course
Nice layout, no real blind shots like some courses, greens ran true and medium fast, course made you play some smart shots to score well.
Only real HUGE disappointment, hole #13 par 3, my wife got a hole in one. They don’t give you anything, not a free shirt/golf towel with their logo, not even a free round of golf.
But they would order her a plaque that would cost us $40+.
SERIOUSLY
Course is in great condition, nice driving range good practice putting area no chipping green and bunker to practice. Wide fairways and a good layout.
Favorite course in Central Florida!!
We are snowbirds always looking for new courses to try. This was not our first time and it never disappoints!! Love the course layout, scenery, and staff - from pro shop to cart workers! Highly recommend to any level golfer!
