Bordering the Indian River, Viera East Golf Club sprawls across a landscape of sparkling blue lakes and native marshland that is accented with towering pines and cypress trees. The well known layout is considered one of the best and most affordable public golf courses in Florida. The course features large, undulating greens that are carefully protected by numerous bunkers and risk-reward opportunities that will challenge even the lowest handicappers. Although the course offers a fairly formidable test, beginners will be comforted by the wide fairways that have ample bailout room. Viera East Golf Club's eighth and ninth holes are a memorable duo, beginning with a short par 4 that is the best birdie opportunity on the course. The ninth is another par 4 with water all along the left and trees along the right. Both holes are made even more challenging with strategic bunkering along the greensides.

Fun courses
A. challenging layout with a fun mix of sand and water. Quick greens with fair undulations .
Overall a very interesting and challenging design which is fun to play at a FAIR price .

Best shape ever
I've played this course a few times a year for several years and this is the best shape I've even seen it in. Great job Vierra East!!

The course was in good shape .. the greens were ok quicker than the last time we played there.. pace of play was great.. 3.5 hour for 18 ..

The fairways are very good for this time of year. The greens were fast and rolled true. Pace was slow at 4 hr 50 minutes for 18
February golf
The course was great but tough on a windy day.
The club house ck in was a little slow but after a great round we had a great meal and Chris the cook and Shawn’s the bartender were absolutely great

Course was in very good condition and the Greens were fast. Real windy during our round so at times it was tough to hold the Greens even with short irons. Would definitely play again
One of the nicer public courses in area
The course is one of the nicer in the area! It was in very good condition along with the sand traps and greens! The fairways are pretty open so you are safe on some errant shots whereas other courses might eat you up. We are 8-12 handicappers and enjoy coming here for occasional golf. The only negative was the pace of play that nobody was monitoring throughout the day. However, to be somewhat expected with an 11:30 tee time. Nice job Viera East, keep up the overall good work!
Great place to golf
Course was in very good condition . Starter Mark is nothing but stellar. As a guest I felt like a member. Just love Viera East.
