Great Day of Golf
Went off as a two-some. Last few times been paired with others. Those we have been paired with have little to no etiquette, don't help find balls and play like it was a race. The weather that day was perfect, The fairways and even the rough in great shape. Greens are still not consistent and have bad patches missing grass. MANY ball marks on the green not fixed and may of the traps not raked. The problem is more with people than the course. Could use a drink/snack cart. I like the course and with the GolfPass app the price is right.
Good course for a decent challenge
Played 3 times while visiting Florida. It a nice course that can be challenging if you do not hit the fairways. First two times for myself was good that way, third time had a bad game and you can loose quite a few balls on this course in water. Busy but good pace of play. Everyone was happy and a really nice pub for after the game. Hoping to play it again next December
Great Outing
Turtle Creek is a nice course to play and usually moves pretty well, as it did for us...3 1/2 hours for our 4some. The bunkers were in great shape. The greens had some of the typical winter kill, but, ran well at average speed. the fairways are good as are the tee blocks. We enjoyed our round and the after golf beverages in the restaurant. As my title states, a great outing with very cooperative weather to add to it.
Worst day of golf better than best day at work
TC never disappoints. Track is in great shape too! Only complaint is following tee times and starting groups on the back 9. Pace was good through the front 9 however, grabbed a drink at the turn and a new foursome was put in front of us... slowed the pace way down. Overall great day.
TOO Slow
Over 4 and a half hours. People behind you pressuring you to play faster yet there is no where to go because they are stacked up in front of you. Slow play sucks but being hit into is just wrong. On good side the greens are getting better. Snack bar needs more products as restaurant takes way too long to grab a bite at the turn.
Greens were not good
The overall course was quite good with the exception of the greens, some greens were damaged with sizeable areas with no grass. Some greens were quite healthy but not cut and we’re dead slow.
Like the design and the overall conditions. Just need to get those greens more playable.
