Course is water logged

This is a beautiful course under the right conditions it was cart path only and I didn’t know that until just before I started my round.For that reason I was not thrilled with course Tues.I would hope there was a way to notify players beforehand at course conditions.

Rough round

4h45min is unacceptable to let happen in the middle of the day and the group ahead is clearly 3-4 holes behind and not a group in sight. Especially when there’s a Marshall monitoring the course.

Course is in decent shape, greens a little rough and not University Park standards but I get it they’re the backup 9 so it is what it is. Around the course in great shape.

Just work on your pace of play monitoring, and cartpath only is not a valid reason for slow play if that’s the response.

Lightning forced us off course

I’m trying to get in touch with a Golf Now representative. We enjoyed a great front 9 golf experience today at Univ Park in Sarasota. At the start of our back 9 the weather set in. Lightning made it unsafe to play and it carried thru until dark. Bob in the Pro Shop was very nice but said unless “Golf Now” called him he couldn’t give my Boss and or I any sort of “Raincheck.” I’ve been searching the website and calling listed numbers that aren’t valid trying to seek help.

If I’m not contacted w resolution for my 9/18 hole golf experience soon I guess I’ll just start calling the courses directly.

Great course and facility

Played 10-18 & 19-27 from the tips. Definitely would recommend. Greens were really good, a little on the slow side (9 on stimp?). Fairways plush, t-boxes good. 10-18 open fairways and shorter than 19-27, which is LONG.

Played last October and added it to my must play courses in Sarasota. Beautiful location and a great layout.. course was in fantastic shape.
